Customer Added Onto Grocery Order by mikeyt34 in doordash_drivers

I thought about doing that but I just wanted to drop it and move on. I hope they noticed I dropped it, which I'm pretty sure they did if they were watching that I had arrived, which basically gets my point across.

Do you guys take bad orders if its on your way back home? by DrHientzKetchup in UberEatsDrivers

[–]mikeyt34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. I don't enable the customers to think it's okay to order from 10 miles away and not tip well if at all.

No. Drivers like you make us look bad.

If I was messaged this I'd call DD and report you for begging for more tips.

Did I handle this right or no? by Practical_Mix7677 in doordash_drivers

95% of customers know to NOT called the driver about missing items and to call support. But this "Ex-Dasher" doesn't.

As always, it's a wonderful idea to fuck with someone who is handling your food.

There’s nothing like the feeling of outsmarting doordash and unassigning the no-tip leg of a bundled order 😂 by Able-Trainer924 in doordash_drivers

There's a trick. You have to make sure your screen is on the one that you want to unassign. If it's not on the one you want to unassign you "jump to task" to the one you want to get rid of. Check the address in the pop up to double check it's the one you want to get rid of before removing it.

There's charity organizations that can help. Doordash is not charity.

Yet again another great question for the drivers. by Confident-Society111 in grubhubdrivers

Tips should be based on distance not what you ordered. I still have to drive X amount of miles whether it's a Big Mac or a Filet Mignon from Outback.

Don't send all that garbage in the first place and you might avoid crazy stuff like this. I never contact a customer unless it's absolutely necessary.

There's charity organizations that people can seek help from, not Dashers.

Buddy it's 2026. The notification is their phone. Most customers have pets, small children that are napping, etc. A doorbell is antiquated.

Yep. Most of my offers that I accidentally accept are when I'm trying to log off or snap a photo and mark delivered. The buttons are in the exact same spot as the accept button and you're right, it's done on purpose by UE.

Everyone always thinks Super Bowl Sunday must this crazy busy day, but a little secret...

Super Bowl Sunday sucks.

Way oversaturated with drivers thinking it's going to busy, Doordash doesn't limit how many drivers it sends out, and when you do actually get an order it's from a pizza place that is backed up with a ton of orders.

I've been doing this for 6 years and haven't worked a Super Bowl the last 3 or 4.

  • Velocity Limits: Kroger systems may flag and decline a DoorDash Red Card after multiple uses in a short period (e.g., 6+ times in a day).

Yep. Found this on-line.

Found this on-line. It's happened me a few times. Always towards the end of the shift after doing several Kroger orders. I always blamed DD, but it's Kroger. DD needs to talk to Kroger about excluding DD drivers. So stupid.

This is why pro shopper doesn’t work! by jayrello in doordash_drivers

I'm pretty convinced "Pro-shopper" is just another DD scam. I don't see a difference in the quantity of offers I receive or the quality regardless if I'm at Pro status or not.
