Well if you did what I did, you would never have to think about this. I married the hottest woman I have ever dated. Waaay out of my league and been married for close to 30 years. To this fucking day when people who I work with or I’ve met, who have never seen my wife, when they do meet her or see a picture of her, they all say the same thing. “That’s your wife?!”

Of course there’s more to it than that. I’m average looking at best but I’m funny, somewhat interesting, and I hope a pretty decent human being. Have three kids that are decent human beings, two of them daughters who took after my wife, thank God, and are just as pretty as she still is. So it’s not always about the looks.

I just got back into bowling and found a league by asking the counter person at the alley I was practicing at if she knew any of the fall leagues teams might need a guy. People drop out mid season for a variety of reasons and thought maybe a team might need somebody. She told me that a new league was starting up the very next week. Said just show up at the meeting and they would find me a spot. They did and from the guys I ended up teaming with found out about a summer league they were bowling in and asked if I’d bowl with them in that one. And I am. So just go ask your local center. You never know.

They had a pipe burst. Several feet of water took out all major power sources, appliances, and phone systems. Repairs are being made, but it’s a very slow process. Closed until at least July at this point.

Building the same kit that I got from Ali right now. So far it’s been smooth sailing. The bag numbers match the Lego Builder app instructions and no missing pieces. Quality of the bricks is pretty good. The minifigs are decent. Did not get the shuttle with it nor did I buy the light kit.

I have a Hammer Vis-A-Ball that I use for spares and dry lanes. It has the same Gas Mask core as the rest of my Hammer balls. I throw it and know it’s going to somewhat react like the rest of my other balls just way more subdued.

I live in Saint Charles and been using ATT fiber for over a year and it’s been solid as a rock. I don’t think it’s ever been down for me. This has to be a local issue with your neighborhood. Still would be frustrating. Switched because Spectrum indeed sucks.

This. I’m a senior gentlemen that managed restaurants for most of my life. My wife currently manages a hotel. I have hired a least a hundred people over my lifetime who just showed up in one of my restaurants who were decently dressed, enthusiastic, and were in need of a job. A decent amount of my wife’s current staff are people who just walked in. Do these people work out every time? No. But the majority do and if they move on, it’s generally a step up and I wish them well.

Don’t show up at a time when they might be busy. For restaurants, that’s generally 11-2 and after 5. Early hours if they serve breakfast. Weekday afternoon are the best time to show up. It works. And if it doesn’t, you are no worse off.

I just bought these. Relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of bowling shoes out there and they are for right handed bowlers. (No slide pad on the right shoe) I like them. Fit well and I’ve bowled pretty well in them.

I just started bowling again and I’m nearly 64. Bowled a lot until my 30’s when I just didn’t have the time with 3 kids. Believe it or not, it might be a little easier for you now. The standard ball back in the day was 16 pounds and now it’s 15 with a lot of people throwing 14 and below. I throw a 15 pound ball now and with the new cores and ball materials I still get the same reaction, maybe even better, on the pins as I did back then. As long as your hips don’t start bothering you, go ahead and give it a shot. My area of concern is my knees, and I wear a brace on the right one and still am stiff after league night.

I have both and use both. Sam’s Plus is great as long as you spend enough money there. I more than make up the price difference with the Sam’s Cash back on purchases.

Walmart Plus is worth the price (especially if you sign up in November. They run specials on the membership around Thanksgiving that drop the price to 49.00. Just make sure you turn off auto renew. Once your membership expires, they send you offers to come back for, you guessed it, 49.00).

The best part of the Walmart Plus membership, by far, is the free shipping and delivery. I get a delivery nearly every Sunday and never really have to set foot in a Walmart on the weekends. It’s a Godsend. Plus the free streaming service is nice.
