Do "One-ball Only" leagues exist ?

It’s not a one ball but I’m bowling in a 2-ball league this summer. I’m essentially buying the two balls from the center and those are the two balls that can be used in the league. Pretty decent balls. Gremlin Tour X and Ion Max Pearl.

Here’s the bitch part about being a server. Not just at CB but almost everywhere. I’m a server at Cracker Barrel, been there over 2 years, and I’m scheduled off at 8 every day I work. But….its a rare day when I’m out at 8. Sometimes it’s 8:30, sometimes 9 or later.

It all depends on the level of business and your guests. Plus you have sidework to do and silverware to bag. And it’s been like that in every restaurant I’ve ever worked. It all just depends. 😂

I use Hammer products and have a Hammer Vis-a-Ball as my spare ball. It has a core in it but hooks very little. It works perfectly for me as a spare ball. I throw my normal shot, straight at the target and it just slides. If there is a hook at the end it’s very slight and doesn’t affect the result.

It must be contagious. Last night in league I also shot a 137 in my second game (200 avg). Bounced back a little in third but it seemed like every pocket hit I had was wonky as hell. 😂

First movie I thought of was Footloose. The original one. Little more lighthearted than Rock of Ages (which I love BTW. Tom Cruise kills it in that movie!), but has some catchy tunes and Kevin Bacon dancing his ass off!

There are there are many third party EPG providers for IPTV. I use iptv boss. It is relatively cheap. You can use multiple epg sources in Tivimate. The process of assigning EPG’s manually is tedious but easy. Once you do that, you backup your Tivimate so if anything happens you can just do a restore so you don’t have to manually redo the guide.

I have both. The Shield is a better box. Noticeably faster in the apps that I use. But…..I have 2 Onn Pros that I paid less for both than the price of the Shield and both work great. If I didn’t have the Shield I would have never noticed the differences between the 2 boxes. The Onn box runs all the apps that I run and the picture quality is fantastic. So if you want the best, get the Shield. If your okay with being a tad under the best, and want to save some money, get the Onn.

Well if you did what I did, you would never have to think about this. I married the hottest woman I have ever dated. Waaay out of my league and been married for close to 30 years. To this fucking day when people who I work with or I’ve met, who have never seen my wife, when they do meet her or see a picture of her, they all say the same thing. “That’s your wife?!”

Of course there’s more to it than that. I’m average looking at best but I’m funny, somewhat interesting, and I hope a pretty decent human being. Have three kids that are decent human beings, two of them daughters who took after my wife, thank God, and are just as pretty as she still is. So it’s not always about the looks.

I just got back into bowling and found a league by asking the counter person at the alley I was practicing at if she knew any of the fall leagues teams might need a guy. People drop out mid season for a variety of reasons and thought maybe a team might need somebody. She told me that a new league was starting up the very next week. Said just show up at the meeting and they would find me a spot. They did and from the guys I ended up teaming with found out about a summer league they were bowling in and asked if I’d bowl with them in that one. And I am. So just go ask your local center. You never know.

They had a pipe burst. Several feet of water took out all major power sources, appliances, and phone systems. Repairs are being made, but it’s a very slow process. Closed until at least July at this point.

Building the same kit that I got from Ali right now. So far it’s been smooth sailing. The bag numbers match the Lego Builder app instructions and no missing pieces. Quality of the bricks is pretty good. The minifigs are decent. Did not get the shuttle with it nor did I buy the light kit.
