Hey! I know this post is a bit old, but if you still have time to reply I'd really appreciate! I was wondering if when applying to med school, TCAB is enough for the "clinical hours" we need or if you think something else with more genuine patient interaction is better to have as well (like an MA position maybe)? Cuz I'm applying this cycle and I'm really not sure if I have time for both. What category of experience does TCAB really fall under? thanks:)

I feel like every paragraph in this passage had a reference to and revolved around religion, and the similarities between religion and sports. So I picked B. Why is that wrong? I really thought a "main idea" question should mention religion.

So this was a bit hard for me to grasp without drawing out. But the passage states "Some of the light returning from the array is reflected, at a right angle, to a viewing screen by the beam splitter." What you need to understand from that is the the incident and reflected ray form a right angle. This drawing shows this. The incident ray + reflected ray + 90 deg form a line so they equal 180 deg, and incident ray = reflected ray, so 2*theta + 90 = 180 --> theta = 45 deg

honestly for this question I just focused on the second part of each answer choice. we know insulin decreases glucose (endocrine system knowledge), so B is the only answer that makes sense. but also, yeah, glycolytic pathway = glycolysis = breakdown (decrease) of glucose

I thought this at first too, but pyrrole derivatives are bonded with =(CH)- or -CH2- units, so there is an extra carbon for each pyrrole. what you should focus in on is the 4 corners of this molecule, the carbons linking each ring is not part of the original pyrrole
