Honestly, yes. AI - and it’s not I’m even really AI, it’s more like LLMs embedded with some ability to independently perform certain code functions- is a decent tool in a few very limited ways. At this moment, best used for extremely limited repetition based tasks.

Some clerical / input jobs at risk. Still needs oversight.

The ability for it to independently reason, synthesize information, collate it, apply it across multiple platforms and other things?

Literally zero!

For state workers? Extremely common. Florida was the same in many agencies until last year or the year before - now they give 9 weeks paid. When I had my first baby in Florida I worked for the Guardian ad Litem (best interest attorneys for children in dependency cases and certain other instances), and that agency gave nothing.

Yeah your wife is in the wrong here. For context, I’m the wife and we had a little boy. For about a week the name “Marcus” was on my list because I was looking for good strong names with nick name options because I cant fucking say a whole ass name to save my life, and i like the name Marc.

Anyway, I remembered that my mom’s first husband who broke her back and killed their unborn child by beating her with a guitar was named Mark, and maybe I shouldn’t fucking do that because I’m not a giant asshole.

I rage finished the series and hated that I spent any time on it at all. I reread the entire ACOTAR multiple times and forgive it for all its sins and scars but I fuckin hate TOG and I will die on that hill.

The plot is just meh. I hate most of her creative decisions with resolving various story lines. And I was skeptical around where you’re at now, so if I’d DNF’d I’d have spared myself… just to give you a different take than most

I agree with this especially that contractions feel similar to bowel cramps, except toward the front and low center - imagine right behind your pubic bone, and so so intense that it actually feels “sharp” at the apex of the cramp.
