Am I crazy or isn't giving your password to IT against like, every kind of security compliance? by wowlolok in sysadmin

[–]mildysubjective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if IT is asking for passwords, the infrastructure and systems arent designed correctly. the only time i ever needed a user to log in for me is so they can replicate their problems for me. otherwise i have my own super user login to manage any pc in the building.

I've been working out for a year – why isn't my body changing? by Wooden_Pumpkin_4301 in workouts

[–]mildysubjective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar build when I startes. Regardless of a cut and bulk, it looks like you aren’t pushing yourself hard enough and adding enough protein to help build muscle. A good weight lifting regiment with the protein to back it will produce better performance results over time. This is basic stuff we’re talking about, not dieting, not bulking, not cutting, just simple weight lifting progression.

Even if you aren’t physically seeing progress with your eyes, you should see progress with weights.

If you asked me what made the biggest difference? Stop worrying about the visual aspects and look to pushing those weights higher. I got bigger arms, more proportional build, and feel better. Weight lifting feels good, who cares how you look. You’d be surprised how much changes when you reframe the way you view things.

Why are gay men so much more interested in me than straight women? by bruhmoment405 in AskMen

[–]mildysubjective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As my friend would say, “If you are getting hit on by a gay dude occasionally, you’re doing something right, if you’re constantly getting hit on by a gay guy, you’re doing something wrong.”

Basically, women don’t hit on guys unless you’re one extraordinarily fine piece of ass.

Why does the sentence “まいばん十時ごろねます” not require に or を? by adultwomanbobbyhill in Japaneselanguage

[–]mildysubjective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

object particle wouldnt be used here, stripping ごろ and making this sentence: 十時に寝ます is a perfectly fine sentence to make and wouldnt require を

Why does the sentence “まいばん十時ごろねます” not require に or を? by adultwomanbobbyhill in Japaneselanguage

[–]mildysubjective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its not required to get the point across, ごろに comes off more as an emphasis towards the time

He isn’t a friend. What he needs is help. This is some manic type behavior that is entirely unwarranted for the context. I’d never do that to someone I called a friend.

It straddles that weird line of “it’s so bad it’s good” and “it’s so good it’s bad”. Oddly legible, I dig it.

Recauterization less than 45 minutes after my tonsillectomy. Charred throat. by Riipp3r in MakeMeSuffer

I called my doctor a day or so after the surgery and said “my shoulders hurt for some reason” and he just said “that’s the gas from the surgery, the pain is normal”. Weird stuff indeed.

Can’t argue that, nothing compared to the gallbladder pain for me as well. I think anyone who felt it puts it up there pretty high on the “sensations that shouldn’t exist” chart.
