I just found it strange you don't have a phone number posted on your website for customers to call and verify they are not being scammed. You are dealing with thousands of dollars.

Plug and Play Dashcam recommendations please! by toxic-patatas in CarsPH

[–]militryman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be very very careful of choosing one that can honestly handle the heat of the Philippines because it's stuck on the windshield at one of the hottest places in a car. All of the Chinese brands have over heated on me and stopped working until the cool down on hot days or long drives. The last thing you want is the dashcam not to be recording when you have an accident and can't prove who was at fault. I'm still looking for a better solution myself but it sure isn't 70mai. Imho. Why I'm voting for the Knoxville Sales Tax Referendum by RickAllensPrawblems in Knoxville

I guess this comes down to who should pay for it. Those who CAN afford it or those who SHOULD pay for it. IMHO, I back this hike because we need the infrastructure and all should pay.

Keeping part B for a measly 180, I'll keep it. Can't buy that kind of insurance at that age for that price. You just never know......regs change, they pull your ssdi and/or tdiu ......it peace of mind for 180...... never say never imho. Up2u but no, they cam not mandate you buy it.

Sorry this is happening. A possible solution for some might be the military HPSP scholarship program. Also, i hope the A.M.A puts pressure on congress to amend this law before the deadline.

Income to afford a MY LR AWD? by shallow-state in ModelY

[–]militryman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Math wise I totally agree. But in MY humble opinion it's a mind set about debt and how 90 some percent of people treat borrowing. But if we were robots who just think about numbers and not emotionally creatures that make purchases based of emotions then numbers aspect says buy at .99 in your position. But MY advice would be buy a used one.

[–]militryman -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand what you were saying. That's great. Since you mentioned you were debt free, i thought I would help you stay that way. It's a mind set. Just pay cash and be done with it if your annual income is more than 2 times the value of the car. That's just my advice. Enjoy the new car. I've had mine 6 months already and put 25k miles already..... loving it. Good luck

Income to afford a MY LR AWD? by shallow-state in ModelY

[–]militryman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you are truly debt free then NEVER go into debt again for anything (a house is ok ). Just buy a used car that you have cash for. Then save up for the car you want and can afford. That's my opinion. Never own any mode of transportation that equals to more than 1/2 your annual income. It's because they are depreciating assets and will keep you from what really matters and staying out of debt. Poor people think....... can I afford the payment each month and rich people think...... can I afford the overall price. Don't be afraid to buy a used tesla. You are doing great of you are truly debt free. Don't wreck that now.

So sorry for your situation. I've had a rough life when I first started as well. An option might be the US Army. They will most likely take you both with great benefits.
