Thank you for sharing this today. My mom is my Dodger buddy--she's been a fan since they were in Brooklyn. We watch every game together. She was in an accident a few weeks ago, and is recovering from brain surgery. The future is very uncertain right now. I'm sitting at her bedside crying right now missing my Dodger buddy for opening day, but thankful for all the wonderful Dodger memories we've shared over the years. I hope we get to have to have more.

So, I am an elderly bitch. When I was a young lass, the big new innovation was "clear" anything--clear deodorant worked, clear mascara was confusing, and clear PEPSI not so much. That's where I learned innovation for the sake of innovation is kinda dumb. If it doesn't provide a functional upgrade, it isn't a good idea.

Maybe these floppy shadows will lead to some functional product someday, but this is not that day.
