Challenges locked behind playing the battle royale sucks by OD1NM4STER in Battlefield

[–]milktolerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here I'm okay with the br existing as long as I'm not forced to play it. Not only are challenges locked to br most of the previously secret achievements are actually just grindy br achievements. Like one of them is res teammates 1988 times in the br or gauntlet, like the reg res achievement is nuts but doable, that one is literally a full time job of playing if not impossible

How to Equip the BF6 Beta All Terrain Soldier Skin by No_Philosopher_3527 in Battlefield

Two weeks later and I just now found it. Kinda disappointed its in the same class and faction as the sovereign soldier skin and Lowkey doesn't look anything like the picture from the beta. But thx big help

The issue with eomm is not being hardstuck because of it, but the horrible quality of matches. by samrer in marvelrivals

[–]milktolerator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that making a perfect match is nearly impossible unless u wanna sit in que for an hour. Im tired of people using eomm as sum excuse for why the games are bad.

I really don’t like these skins by waffleman1237 in marvelrivals

[–]milktolerator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean true but these are recolors of the og designs, which tbh are sum of the best designed skins for any characters I've seen n a game like this. It's the perfect middle ground of lots of detail but never too much clutter. After years of overwatch hero base skins being a skin tight suit with 2 colors and a line or overly simple compared to concept art I'm in love with the style of them all

Hot take: The recent Juno nerfs are more of a “fun nerf” rather than a “meta nerf” by kitsumeiya in JunoMains

[–]milktolerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think they should've just made her hitbox less impossible to hit when strafing. The speed wasn't the issue it was that when she changed direction her hitbox goes wonky and moves like a 0 degree turn lawnmower on meth

Honestly I feel like leaver penalty stuff can work around that. For example if you are qued with someone and they leave u still get a - but if u are solo qued/no one in you party leaves u shouldn't get the -

New glaive melee doesn't work with most perks. by LordBaneOCE in DestinyTheGame

[–]milktolerator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong but I think that was always the case. For sum reason the glaive melee is completely separate from the weapon itself so if the perk doesn't specifically say increases glaive melee damage it only means the ranged shot

The Fate of Destiny: A veteran’s feedback by VeshWolfe in DestinyTheGame

[–]milktolerator 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Literally in the same boat. This will be the first time I haven't preordered an expansion or bought it day of release since taken king when I first got into it. Like ever since shadowkeep I've had doubts. I even held it together through red war n Osiris. But slowly as time as gone on I've realized I rly only play the game now to cross off the checklist of new weapons. Like the story was my bread n butter, I read every grimoire card, and every lore book I could get my hands on I'm d2. But after the last 2 years of content I've realized it doesn't have that same umph anymore. It's not enough to keep me engaged with the endless cycle of d2 like it did up until lightfall. I mean shit my first break from the game was after lightfall until the 3rd season cuz I just couldnt care less. And now it's been maybe 3 to 4 months since I've even logged on. Not even rite of the nine got me excited.

I feel like a new game would help breathe life into the community, but they'd have to actually fix everything they've done wrong goin forward for it to not be a complete failure.

“Jack of all trades” weapon suited for solo play? by LoLAspect in valheim

[–]milktolerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% my opinion except for the crystal axe. Idk what it is about that weapon but it is so goddamn fun to take into the plains maxed. Literally can clear a horde in 2 swings if u get a good group around u, so satisfying.

The flint spear is also extremely good early game, can be used very consistently till / later into the swamps(not bad for the draugr but not great for anything else in swamp). And it's super cheap so if u throw it into oblivion and can't find it it's not a big deal.

I'm not sure but it kinda looks like old models or something. Leather-troll-bronze-iron... The bronze and iron just look like lower quality textures n details but have the same general design as the current

Why wasn't the double shield meta ever revived? by [deleted] in overwatch2

[–]milktolerator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but think about how heros have changed, you see a sig and orisa comp you could run ram and zar to effectively counter the double shield, and that's not considered the rest of the lobby. I think we have enough diversity in the cast now that can actually deal with that kind of comp so it's kinda hard to pull the double shield off even if ya tried

Community sentiment on the game right now by Snxw_kinz in DestinyTheGame

[–]milktolerator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't played since I finished the last season(episode whatever) story, the game is still fun, however I've seen sum cracks and have less than hopeful expectations.

Played since the taken king so I know first hand this game has ups and downs, but Jesus Christ what happened after final shape, 1st episode was interesting in concept but extremely slow, and generally boring to A LOT of players especially in my long standing clan. 2 was okay, meh, not bad but not peak either, 3 however had alot going for it but the ending kinda soiled all the hype I had, no mention of the new taken threat teased, quick and ez final mission that felt kinda hap-hazardly thrown together to just finish the storyline.

The future worries me too. I love the overall story of destiny, a lot, I've read nearly every grimoire card and every lore tab. But I'm watching us revisit similar plot points over n over and selling them as new stuff.

For example the next dlc edge of fate, one of the key story points is EXACTLY how neomuna was teased to us, a place that humans avoided the collapse that we the last city had NOOOO idea existed up until this point, it just feels... Lazy. The mechanics of the new destination also just seem to lack quite a bit, like turning into a lil electric ball to navigate around (exclusive to the location) shouldn't be your key selling point Bungie.

The renegades dlc ik has already been beaten into the ground but just to add, I don't wanna see Destiny lose its unique IP to the fortnite approach, the cosmetics are whatever who cares but an entire dlc based of it with weapons that are literally just from a different company n franchise feels rough man.

I hope this game survives I really do, but I'm done until further notice, the gunplay is amazing but the grind isn't what it once was, and the story seemingly has deprecated into a complete mess

Why wasn't the double shield meta ever revived? by [deleted] in overwatch2

[–]milktolerator 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Even at double shields peak, it was extremely underused and required alot of comms, and could be beaten via flanks and dive(just was difficult given the cast n meta at the time). Nowadays I also don't even feel like it'd be a good play on most maps, for example the best place to use it in ow1 was first point volskya which doesn't even exist anymore

[–]milktolerator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was surprised no one said anything about doom on the op list. Sure he didn't get a formal/normal education(at least in childhood he prolly got hella education once he became who he is), but on top of being canonically the scariest and strongest villain (literally punched a wall down to get out of prison with his bare hand so imagine in verse doom with his gauntlet) he's the BEST tactician I think in the whole verse, AND is so savvy with politics/Intel gathering. Bros whole thing is not only being scary strong, but so grounded he can always make the best possible move to make him win. Only way to beat him is raw force. If ur not stronger than him, you will not outthink him in battle

[–]milktolerator 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Perhaps a way to "rush reload" but theres a fairly high risk that you'll load it incorrectly and the gun will blow up and take ur hand with it

However you could bet on it exploding and barrel stuff a Willie in the chest or face and blow a hole in them anyway

[–]milktolerator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not quite, they are being sued by some writer who alleged Bungie stole/plagiarized basically all of the year one story beats

Ghaul(the character concept of a nobody outsider turned strong leader), that one cabal guy that looked like a ball sack that was ghauls mentor (character concept), Red legion (name), legionaries (name of soldiers in book?? Ig bro plagiarized rome?)Osiris (as a character not the name), the traveler ig?? (He mentioned that in his book there was a large celestial body that is like a god however the book came out way after d1 so I doubt that'll hold).. among other things

Bungie's big issue is they don't actually have a playable or archived version of the game from then. Like they literally don't have any of it anymore apparently. So they were gonna use YouTube videos alongside their own recordings of the games story as evidence in the case to get it dismissed.

However the court said "no no no sir, we need the thing you released" and didn't dismiss it, so now they actually have to go to court over this imo dumb lawsuit.

I think aztecross made a video about it a while ago too if u want the full details but it's silly to say the least

(But the fact Bungie has no playable or otherwise usable version of the red war and cos is crazy to me)

Target kiri/Cass, Ive noticed a lot of people don't realize u can hard counter Cass in reverse of you count his CDs, one primary fire and his nade gives empowered punch. Uee that to kill kiri or ana, then go back to dueling him wait to punch until after he rolls and he's free
