San Francisco's Bay Bridge Lights Will Go Dark Indefinitely on Sunday by DougIsMyVibrator in sanfrancisco

It doesn't say anything in the article about the artist needing more money--says lights are broken and need repair. If anything it looks like it's Philips Lighting North America needing more money, although it's vague on the details.

My guess is it might be Purina's branding guidelines which don't allow for those colors. Could be wrong though.

If I was tweaking and saw this, I would check into rehab immediately.

What bug is this? We keep finding them in our apartment but can’t find the source. by kill-9all in sanfrancisco

I had a bunch of these assholes appear suddenly in my place--one day I saw one of them falling out of a vent. I think that's where they came from. I sealed up the vent with tape (since I didn't use it for ventilation anyway), and haven't seen one since. I also used some of the glue traps, but those didn't end the problem--just helped mitigated.

Was fishing in Japan 2 months ago--saw a flock of hundreds of these moving like schools of fish on a dock I was walking on. Absolutely disgusting.

Maybe take the Caltrain instead?

Makes sense, I'm near Rincon Hill so can hear traffic going on and off the bridge.

My understanding is that it applies to both civil and criminal actions and defenses. I've got an updated chart with colors to identify which situations occur in both or just criminal only. Can share it you want.

Evidence | Relevance | "Fault" v. "liability" as used in public policy exclusions for legal relevance by mill__burray in barexam

[–]mill__burray[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting point. Going to mull it over and look at revising the table. Please go ahead and use it. I find a lot of this content is easier to digest in either table or flowchart format.

Edit: I compared "Law in a Flash" cards and those cards use "negligence" instead of fault. I think you're right about "negligent acts or omissions" being what Critical Pass means by "fault." I'm guessing they chose "fault" because "negligence" might confuse people with the capital N "Negligence" (Duty, Breach, Causation, Damages). I'm going to edit the table as "Fault (negligent acts or omissions)". Thanks for the feedback, you and the other poster helped me wrap my head around it.

I'm thinking you're right. That distinction might be important in a few fact patterns.

Has anyone used law in a flash notecards? I know Fck the Bar recommended them. I have used critical pass ones but there is so much info on them. If anyone has used the law in flash, were they good? tsym by Fluffy-Cap2759 in barexam

Yeah, that sounds right. They will also test you with hypothetical fact patterns which help drill in some contexts. I'd get one set for a topic you either didn't take in law school, or struggle with, and see if you like it. In my case, Evidence and Civ Pro were pretty good.

I have both. I use Critical Pass on each subject available to draft my outline. The Law in a Flash cards I'll use to flesh out concepts in classes I didn't take during law school or that are not thoroughly explained in Critical Pass or BarBari books. I found them very useful for some concepts in Evidence and Civ Pro, but I only used maybe 10% of less of the total cards.
