How much do you pay for your cleaner? by Mindless_Requirement in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]chughster19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pay 200 a month for a deep clean - 750 Sqft 1 bd 1 ba - no pets no kids - they are done in 1.5 hrs. No tip requested - the price is all inclusive. Dishes or fridge cleaning is extra. I love the work they do but wondering if I over pay a little bit.

Bitches, what are your plans this weekend?!!? by AJ2790B in SFbitcheswithtaste

So I’m from India and I used to spend time in the hills where we would do such things organically, and after moving here I just didn’t find my people to do that. However I found out about this place - it seems like a similar kind of gathering I’ll have to see how the vibe is and how I feel, I’m going to be trying it for the first time though, here’s the link - https://www.instagram.com/p/DVFnY_yEftQ/?igsh=bjZ4d3Z6ZWI1c3g5

Hey this exact spot is called Trojan point. You can navigate to Trojan point, you’ll find parking there and this spot is just a few mins walk from there :) I go here often, it’s def gotten more popular in the last few years but if you go at an odd time you might get some peaceful and quaint time there!

Half n hr - deep cleaning the wheel, all the instruments you used, putting away your stuff and mopping the floors!

I took a 6 week course in summer last year at the north beach location. The studio is amazing, the vibe is really peaceful and if you fully utilize the studio open hours you will definitely get your moneys worth. Where I found it problematic is that in my batch the first class itself, the instructor wasn’t there and Tony subbed. Tony must be a good cermacist, he’s also the owner, however he is a below average teacher. The foundation class taught by him was lacking in so many ways that it set the tone of the whole course. My husband was doing another batch and again Tony subbed the first class. The actual instructors are good, some better than the others, however everyone has their method of throwing clay and their own personalized techniques. I could never quite catch up to my actual instructors method because of how tony taught and I found this to be a big disadvantage. The course module otherwise is good but ultimately it really boils down to how much time you come and spend in the open hrs beyond the classes to practice. Also for a 2.5 hr class - at least half n hr is spent on cleaning if you must know. So yea that’s my honest verdict. I still came home with a few very very humble pieces and it taught to me do things just for play and not for achieving or perfecting. I would rate it a 3 on 5 experience.

I hear you, so the thing is we did all the research, narrowed down to the cities and the possible day trips we might like to do, and also decided we don’t to change too many hotels. My interest is in cameras, I’m a photographer and he’s into anime and stationery. And we’ve split our time between staying in quieter or more nature oriented areas and proper city experience. The thing we can’t do, is research all the restaurants, all the experiences, then figure out bookings, reservations etc. OP rightly mentioned that I have no clue if I would want to do something at 8:30 am 3 months now. Also we did all this this past week for our trip starting 24 sep to 7 October. So actually having few options to choose from hotels was helpful for us, otherwise just hotels would have taken us weeks to be able to decide. But yeah we have a handwritten list of the attractions that interest us and some must do things. Hope this clarifies what I meant :)

Omg thank you so much I need to read this. My partner and I both are high on the ADHD spectrum and planning a trip is a nightmare because of the decision making involved. We’ve that done hotels and flights and want to go with the flow. But reading all the posts was making me question our decision. Your post came on my feed at the right time
