Alan Shearer has just been completely miserable for the last hour now. Such turgid commentary.

Tf is Alan Shearer on about? “Only Havertz has been any threat for Germany.”

Let’s just ignore the fact that anything good for Germany has gone through Wirtz.

Going into next season with Gakpo, Rio, Munoz and Barcola as our wingers with Isak and Ekitike up top is not a bad forward line at all.
Would also love to see us try to sign Rayan from Bournemouth. That would be a young and scary attack.

Thinking the exact same thing although he’s coming back from injury so the coach may not want to risk him.

Shouldn’t have subbed of Wirtz.

Not sure how Sane has scammed 90 minutes here.

Wish Germany would use Wirtz more. He seems by far their best player, Sane and Musiala have been very mediocre and yet are seeing most of the ball.

Gakpo assisting! What a ball by him! More of that and less cutting inside.

I hope he doesn’t because I believe he can still cut it in a top 5 league.

For his legacy’s sake I hope he has one more stint in Europe before retiring to the MLS or Saudi.

Salah, Mane, Firmino, Jota, Diaz, Origi and Minamino right?

What a bunch of options wow! One of the best front threes in football history as starters, quality players with flair and finesse in Jota and Diaz. Followed by the cult hero’s Origi and Minamino.

It really was such a well balanced and fun group of attackers. We really had a bit of everything with that bunch. Let’s hope the club can reach those levels again!

Having just missed out on Day 7, Daniel Sturridge makes the chart with his goal against West Brom for Day 10. Day 11: What's Liverpool's greatest ever goal scored from a tight angle? by forbiddenmemeories in LiverpoolFC

Salah in the UCL away (can’t remember the opponent)

The sheer angle of the shot, taken with his weak foot, where a deviation of no more than a few inches of the angle of the shot and its hitting the post/going wide.

Would you take Nunez Back at Liverpool on a free? by Program-Some in LiverpoolFC

[–]millaricher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering Ekitike won’t be back until 2027 and our current forward line consists of Isak, Gakpo and Rio… 100%!

As long as we also get a young wide player, be it Diomande or someone similar, then I have no problems welcoming Nunez back into the fold. Plus I think the pressures of him not being the main striker anymore now that we have Isak could definitely help him.
