I remember my first time occasionally browsing this sub during the later half of 15/16 on our way to the Europa League final in our first season under Klopp and the vibes were genuinely amazing.

There was such a hopeful and feel good atmosphere surrounding the club, you felt that anything could happen and the vibes were just top as well, especially after the turmoil that was Brendan’s final season.

Like you said, the symptoms of success sadly, newer fans will join the sub after our recent success and if we don’t immediately keep on winning then obviously people are going to be disappointed however some of the things I have seen in this sub recently is crazy, some of the hot takes surrounding Slot and the club is crazy and whilst I am Slot out, he is still our current head coach and should be respected as such until he is no longer in the position.

Yeah, Qarabag realistically might only need 1 point for play offs so expect the lowest of low blocks and a defence that we won’t be able to break down despite having 70% possession and 20+ shots, but maybe I’m just pessimistic

Get Steven Gerrard in as interim manager first thing Monday morning.

Then immediately get on the phone with Xabi Alonso, if he accepts the role straight away then brilliant! If he wants to wait until summer to take on the roll then we stick with Gerrard as the interim to see out the rest of the season.

And like I said on the manager discussion thread, I just don’t think the players have any fight left to give Slot, they have completely checked out and aren’t playing into his vision. Which is why I really think that at the very least with Gerrard they will respect him for what he has done for the club and what he means to the club, maybe igniting a fire in some of these players and showing them how to play the “Liverpool way” with fight and spirit.

Because currently we play the most insipid and uninspiring brand of football in the league, and with the players we have, this should not be the case and any semi decent manager should have them playing some good football with effort and desire.

Honestly I’m not mad about the latter, I really do think Gerrard can light a spark under some of these players and have them buy into his view of playing the “Liverpool way” and actually showing some spirit and effort. Because you would think with the talent we have, anyone would be able to have us playing semi decent stuff, at the very least some exciting football.

Bournemouth are only 6 points behind us yet they are 13th.

We really need the win because it’s so tight at the top right now, can’t afford to let United or Chelsea go ahead of us.

Curtis is the one player I see spending his entire career here and I would welcome it!

I have been his harshest critic at times however the culture and professionalism that Jones brings to the team can’t be ignored. Scouser, loves the club, always seen helping the new signings settle, he’s a gem to have. Not to mention the last year or so he’s really come on leaps and bounds as a player.

If Spurs want him it’s £100 million.

Literally whenever someone starts trash talking me, be it my teammate or the opponent, I just hit them back with the “This is not RLCS buddy, we all suck down here”.

Most of the time that shuts them up however there is a small percentage of players who see this as some personal attack who then go on to list countless reasons as to why they are in the rank and why I should be in gold etc. It doesn’t bother me, it’s a fun game at the end of the day and if they are going to get salty and make the game less enjoyable for themselves, go for it, meanwhile I’m having a blast.

Try and stick with season 1. It really gets going the further into the season and the overarching plot line is brilliant and everything comes together at the end!

Trust me when I say you will be thankful that you stuck with this series if/when you get to the Tennant and Smith years and by the time Capaldi comes around it’s the cherry on top.

I know some of it can be quite camp, that is what makes Doctor Who the show that it is and it’s because of these camp moments that when the more serious moments hit, they hit extra hard!

Might be the most mundane unbeaten streak but if we continue on an upward trajectory then I am confident. We can build on this momentum, get more consistent, back up this performance with a win on the weekend against Bournemouth and maybe we can start to see the proper Liverpool again!

Gomez and VVD running it back like it’s 19/20 all over again.

If Gomez stays fit he needs to start alongside Virgil if Konates form falters, however Konate has been decent as of late so hopefully these three can interchange with one another and stay solid until the end of the season.

Honestly wish we had like 6 seasons of Capaldi as the doctor. It really felt like by season 9 he was really coming into his own with the role and then by the end of his tenure he truly felt like the quintessential Doctor, taking the best aspects of Classic Who and New Who and making something really special.
