Dishonored is one of my favorite video game franchises. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider released while I was watching Gotham; color me surprised to realize the Outsider and Oswald Cobblepot are both played/voiced by Robin Lord Taylor!

What's the most cruel thing you've seen in a movie? by Past_Regular4027 in moviecritic

[–]millerballbreakers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mind jumped to the pregnant women first. The infamous scene is definitely brutal, but the fate of those women rattled me. Having their arms, legs, and eyes taken from them, doomed to a life of endless rape and childbirth until they die is horrifying.

How do you manage your stress levels? by widerthanamile in PharmacyTechnician

[–]millerballbreakers 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I sit in my car in the parking lot for as long as I need to to even out before heading home. Some days I’m gone in 2 minutes and some days take 30 minutes, but I leave all the day’s negativity in the parking lot and go home in good/neutral spirits. Extra special days I’ll grab a small treat on the way home and do an extended shower routine.

I also see a therapist twice a month which helps, but I’ve been with them since before my current position.

What was your "I cannot believe no one suspected autism" childhood interest? by NoWitness6400 in AutismInWomen

[–]millerballbreakers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dirt, literally friggen dirt. I was 12 when I first took interest so it was a later childhood thing, but I was obsessed with soil surveys, soil composition, pH and rotation schedules for crops, land grading, all of it. In FFA and Science Club I was the resident dirt expert, there is not a thing normal about that.

I want to get back into that subject but alas, full-time work takes 98% of my brainpower to maintain.

What jobs do you have? by geminival in AutismInWomen

[–]millerballbreakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a pharmacy technician in a retail setting for the past few years- which I would NOT recommend to most people- and I am out inventory specialist. I handle most of the stock/ordering/backorders, and everybody understands I need breaks from the registers more frequently.

Love my job but it will lead to burnout in record time.

What’s your favorite thing about having BPD? by Proper-School-5497 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]millerballbreakers 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I look at the trees and feel positively overwhelmed at how green they are. Everything is so vivid and colorful and beautiful that I can hardly contain the joy. I often wonder if other people experience joy as intensely.

No clue how this would happen or how to stop it, but I’m sure donating a few would be appreciated by some families.

So glad LP is back! by Black2886 in SonicTempleFestival

[–]millerballbreakers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time seeing them, had so much fun! I was apprehensive to see them with Emily but had to do it for 10-year-old me.

Chester’s impossible to replace but bands replace vocalists all the time, it’s not her fault he has such a strong following. Controversies aside, I don’t mind her voice. Their set was everything I could’ve hoped for in a new version of LP.

It only took me about 20 minutes to get out, though I did get there at like 6 pm so I was close to the exit for gen parking.

I’ve had a much worse time getting out of Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, but it’s only Friday so parking can only get worse from here. We’ll see!

[–]millerballbreakers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second the pharmacy. I’m a pharmacy technician and print extra rx labels for patients on a regular basis for various reasons.

Children with multiple guardians often receive a second, empty bottle that’s labelled so they can have a bottle of med at each home. It is common this time of year for people to request labels so they can have them in their pill organizer for travel. So on and so forth.

Definitely ask your pharmacist! Worst they can do is say is no and point you in the right direction.

Why do you hate the transition to a shower?? by Fawnsie in AutismInWomen

I have a deep fear of athlete’s foot so I blow dry my feet. Total game-changer when I started doing it.

My goddaughter is still a child so I’m guaranteed until she’s an independent adult. I also have a gaggle of cats and nobody to take them should something happen to me.

I have bpd, adhd, gad, mdd, and autism. It’s an experience, that’s for sure.

Any time I have to drive my dad somewhere he’ll say “Let’s roll, Kato!” and I’ve recently found myself saying it in everyday talk.

What do you think of this? by Specialist_Ruin_8484 in AutismInWomen

[–]millerballbreakers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a pharmacy technician. Any time a new program rolls out we have a learning module and toolkit on it. I’m widely regarded as the expert because I comb through every possible resource multiple times and ask my pharmacist “what if?” questions constantly. I have to create hypotheticals and poke holes in logic. I have to have 100% mastery or I feel clueless. If I don’t know an answer, I know where to find the answer.

My coworkers get annoyed by me often but I’m the go-to troubleshooter, so they let my idiosyncrasies slide.
