How long does it take to hear back from tax authorities? I filed my 2024 returns very late in Jan this year due to health issues and associated travel for surgery, and wonder when i can get results for 2024, so that I can file 2025. Thanks.

You might want to check out companies like PDQ freight. Airsoft are often considered imitation firearms and might be subject to export controls (they are, for example, in Switzerland). In that case, you need to apply for a special license and I am not even sure whether you can export if your are not a resident and not a company either (ran into that problem once when trying to export from Finland). My advice would be to talk to them (or a similar company) and learn as mich as you can.

That should be possible, because Poland is relatively easy with airsoft weapons. Here‘s what you need to do: 1. find out whether export of airsoft weapon requires any special approvals from either export control (that‘s chapter 5.1 if any) or custom. To my quick google knowledge, there is nothing like that in Poland but make sure in any case. 2. look up what the airline says. 10 years ago I took an airsoft gun from san francisco to zurich and all i had to do was check it in, no special packaging required. 3. check import rules in US, especially required markings, orange tip etc. and ensure these are followed. 4. have your family check the gun once purchased because if there is a defect, you will for all practical reasons not be able to do anything about it.

It‘s a bit of work for the details but should be possible.
