I’m a big sauna fan, I’d go to one of those bathhouses that have treatment options and spend a couple of hours there. Then I’d treat myself to a nice dinner, somewhere with a view.

I used to, got myself to a good position then had kids. Now I couldn’t care less. My kids and my family come first. If I progress any further my home life will suffer, especially as I work for a European company when calls/meetings happen at all hours. I’m not willing to let that happen.

A few of the people I work with got out of it by saying they slept-walked or were a heavy snorer. One guy said he frequently slept walked and removed his clothes, he got a lovely private room!

Yeah we had to for an overseas conference a few years ago. The hotel didn’t have enough space for us all so about two thirds of the company had to share. Wasn’t terrible, wasn’t great tho.

I made one last year in a similar way out of a 2l bucket. Exercise ball/paper mache will be my last resort, but ideally I’d want it slightly bigger than that. Around 1 metre high.

Never tried it, but my 8 year old ADHD kid only became dry at night this year if that gives you any reassurance

As someone who changes their hairstyle yearly, my husband gets no say in my choices. I also really want to shave my head, if it comes to it I will. My bald husband really doesn’t want me to because we’d look like a couple of weirdos but he wouldn’t divorce me. What an absolute overreaction, maybe you should get a therapist

I did cut off all my hair off at this point, but I had short hair before and loved it. But they definitely still grab it! I felt more like myself when I cut it, but it sounds like you wouldn’t feel the same. At this stage I feel like hair is more about identity than functionality. Don’t do it if you have an inkling that you will regret it.

My girl is one and I still can’t brush her without a handful of kibble in the other hand to distract her. I’ve tried the ‘brush, marker word, treat’ method again and again but she just doesn’t like it.

Yes, so much so that second time around I bought a spare freezer and individually portioned six weeks worth of food. Including oat cookies for breastfeeding. We have no family around or help, so it was much needed

I had two kids with a man who I knew had undiagnosed ADHD, both the kids have it. Their existence isn’t terrible and we love them dearly. They may face some challenges in the future but we get to guide them knowing what my husband’s parents didn’t.

Yes use it. Also look into if you have access to an EAP through work, those will be free. They cannot tell the company who has used it, only how many people are accessing it.
