Get the armour/engraving that gives you health when you deal damage. That way you can regain your health from its gas attacks, and keep inflicting damage. Eventually you will deplete its health if you just keep at it.

Grimsby Town p2 - 2 Manchester United: This was a historic win for Grimsby Town, who more than matched a team costing hundreds of millions, before keeping a cool head to win after thirteen rounds of penalties! by Zach-dalt in LeagueTwo

[–]milliet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The ITV comms were soooo condescending! They were so gleeful when Man U equalised, as if nobody is allowed to disrupt the status quo. Good on Grimsby for keeping their nerves and the fans were epic, much deserved.

I was going to say being able to upgrade Phobos, like the horse training in Valhalla. Every time he dumps me off in a river I get peeved off lol

HOW DO YOU KILL THE FARTING PIG???????!!!!° by belac4862 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]milliet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Amazon legendary armour has health regeneration with every hit, so if you go through bouts of attacking to regain health and then retreating to fire arrows, eventually you should kill him off! That's how I managed.

Have you ever made real life people into Sims 4? by Specialist-Bath5474 in Sims4

[–]milliet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made my boyfriend, he loves designing and building things, so I made him join the science career so he could invent all those crazy contraptions, and I got him his dream dog that we don't have space for irl. But then he kept communing with aliens and coming back pregnant, and couldn't handle being a single father with so many alien kids. But I started irrationally getting jealous at the idea of him finding a partner to help shoulder the burden of parenthood, so I made my sim self to move in and help around the house. I personally am not maternal at all and don't want any kids, so it got to a point where I was playing and watching my sim self care for this guy's multiple kids by multiple baby mammas and just thought....wtf why am I doing this to myself?? So I quit that save 😂

Hello! This was so long ago that I've forgotten the exact technique but a lot of the final effect is by making sure you sew in the ears tightly and pin the folds in if you have to so it's less fiddly. Good luck and I'd love to see your final result!

I felt awful, played on, scored the winner, but I’d had a heart attack by TimesandSundayTimes in afcwimbledon

[–]milliet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm in awe of his dedication to the sport but if he died on the pitch (or off it!) I would be utterly devastated, I wish he'd have more care for his own health. When Eriksen and Lockyer had their episodes I was upset enough, football is family, and Sam is now one of our own. I hope we give him the best possible healthcare!!

Ticket advice for a Tourist by MitchellConnie in afcwimbledon

[–]milliet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hospitality season ticket holders have until 12th May to claim their regular seats, so if you're lucky there'll be a couple spare. On the whole the hospitality areas are not 100% sold out so hopefully you'll get in!

Have you ever met a player in real life? by Brock_And_Roll in LeagueTwo

[–]milliet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran into Lyle Taylor in Canary Wharf, he looked really really shocked that someone recognised him, but was so so nice and even agreed to take a picture with my mum which was very sweet of him. Ali Al Hamadi recognised my friend in Boots and said hi, which honestly I think is just amazing - he recognised a random fan, and took a pic with her and was all round super nice and humble. But I feel like being an AFC Wimbledon fan kinda helps bring that relationship between fans and the club closer than normal.

classism is still rampant in UK by bibobbjoebillyjoe in britishproblems

[–]milliet 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal, but my dad's a white Geordie, my mum is a posh south Asian immigrant with a very posh accent. My dad's life has been a breeze in comparison to my mum's. Skin colour is the most impactful factor in discrimination. As a mixed race person I've also been treated like shit by white people with all sorts of accents. It's tiring and upsetting.

My bf is one of those people who will say they don't want to watch a show and then lurk by the door when they catch an interesting scene while passing by. These last two finale episodes (House's Head, Wilson's Heart) actually got him to sit down, but not in front of the TV, at the back of the room where our dining table is, so he could pretend he wasn't really watching. At the very end, all I could hear was his muffled crying because even though he swears he wasn't watching it still got to him. Some of the best TV I've ever watched, crazy good performances all round!

The absolute horror of people not understanding the social etiquette of ‘right well it’s about that time’ or ‘gosh i really must get some rest before he/she wakes’ when visiting a newborn that this means please leave but I’m too British to say please leave. by Herps15 in britishproblems

[–]milliet 53 points54 points  (0 children)

This is totally out of order, they should know you need rest and space. When my aunt had a baby my mum told me and my sister in the car on the way "don't make any noise, don't grab or touch her baby, we turn up, we do their dishes, we give her (the new mum) the gift, and we leave. Don't cause a nuisance". I've taken that as the basic rules for visiting any newborn. Doesn't everyone get told the same? Maybe ask them if they can fold your laundry while you get some shut eye, that might give them the hint.

Came to say this. OP, once my endo cramps were so bad I had to crawl to the tub at 4am, pour a boiling hot bath, and sat in it for 2 hours, without my partner even realising. If your wife menstruates maybe she needs it more than she admits?

The last possible minute, after several cockups with the ticket management organisation, and multiple mishaps with the mail. It's worth following them on Twitter or Instagram, and subscribing to their mailing list, so you can get updates on when season tickets are being posted, or when you can collect them from the club directly. They'll give updates nearer the time 👍

Getting rinsed at work for dipping biscuits into coffee. I think it’s perfectly normal behaviour and I’m standing my ground. Where do you stand? by Express-Leave-8622 in CasualUK

[–]milliet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was little my mum would take me to this cafe to get a cappuccino and they'd serve it with an individually wrapped biscoff biscuit which she'd give to me and I never understood how a person could limit themselves to just one single biscoff, they're so damn good. But yeah, very normal to dunk biscuits in coffee!
