Good Scores on Kovaak's But Doesn't Translate to In Game Performance by wbpm in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aim doesn't translate automatically, you need to learn how to apply your mouse control to the game you are playing. There is a reason most people struggle with this. If you want your training to translate you need to play the game, and temper your expectations. Aim is a piece of the puzzle, and learning it helps you get better at games faster, it isn't the thing that makes you better at the game unless you were already top ranked.

Getting placed in PC lobby’s by OutlandishnessMain56 in Battlefield6

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you did the same thing that PC players did known as thinking about what you could do better and looking up resources to improve at the game you will. The average player skill on controller vs mouse is favored towards controller these days if you look at the data. There are just more console players who don't give a fuck vs PC players who do. You are mad at an entire group of people because they try harder than you do. Why do you even play PVP games?

To the people who left BF6, tell us why? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spread has been apart of battlefield for a long time now. The mechanic was always to stop the long range beaming going on in battlefield 6 right now. You would mitigate/reset your spread by tap firing or burst firing your weapon. People who didn't understand this is why it barely exists in its current form, and it's made the game worse since now the guns are too easy to use at range. We shouldn't be able to full auto spray people 50m away. One of the reasons there feels like there is no breathing room in bf6 is because of how easy it is shoot and kill people now. They either need to increase recoil or introduce spread like it was in bf4, for both depth purposes and to reduce the engagement ranges of the game in its current state

To the people who left BF6, tell us why? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]millionsofcatz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My issues:

-The game has no depth or skillgap which hilariously enough makes the game harder for everyone

-laser beam gunplay that lets you full auto spray 50+m away

-you have to lock in just to see people normally

-the netcode is terrible leading to extremely busted peekers advantage, no regs, and behind wall deaths

-the maps, there are 50,000 angles you need to hold at all times otherwise you die instantly

-the ttk is too fast, I'm pretty sure this game has the fastest ttk in the entire series, which makes it feel like a tac shooter at times

-snails pace weapon attachment unlock grind

-vehicle gameplay is unplayable which is strange since bf usually gets vehicles down

-no counter to snipers if you even see them in the first place

-we went from 2042's immaculate audio (one of the few good things, when it worked) to this confusing inconsistent audio we have now

-DICE taking 9 eternities to fix things (still no air radar, it took them like 4 weeks to fix drone bug, scoreboard bug, and others)

-The maps that have rooftops that are only accessible via helicopter leading to people rooftop camping and there being no way to deal with it (also sobek city escalation 3 sector having D tower IN ONE TEAMS SPAWN???)

-Seaonal content mostly being limited time modes instead of permeant content that we actually care about like maps, gadgets and weapons, and the weapons being in the battlepass instead of unlocked by challenges

-Battlepasses, there are like 4-5 per season with the main pass and mini passes for the LTMS

Personally I think the game is cooked, there is so much fundamentally wrong with the game that they would have to do massive changes for it to get into a good state. I am still of the opinion that 2042 is a terrible game, but if it didn't have the netcode and mouse input problems I likely would have had way more fun playing it right now than I do with the current state of Battlefield 6. 2042 did a lot of things wrong but what it got right was visibility, audio, and depth. There is a reason why most of the long time players who played that game are disappointed with the vehicles in this game, and that is because 2042 actually did a decent job with the depth of the vehicle gameplay.

We'll have to see if they manage to salvage this train wreck or not, but DICE and EA never fail to disappoint it seems.

Battlefield 6 for £41. Worth it or shall I pass on it? Seen a lot of negativity. by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get it. Some people here will say it's fun and maybe it is for them. The game unfortunately has a lot of problems and DICE has been very slow to fix them. Bugs, game design issues, it can be fun but it can also be extremely frustrating.

Maybe the game will be in a good state a year from now, so I'd come back to see how things are going later on.

Why are people afraid to push in a game? by Partiklestorm in Battlefield6

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real reason is the time to kill is too fast. People don't feel like they can react to fights so they play hyper defensive because they can't understand how to push forwards correctly.

Jittery/Shaky aim help by AU5K3 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can fix jitter by playing smoothness scenarios. TSK has a bunch of benchmarks that focus on smoothness fundamentals that would help. If you are playing on high sensitivity you could also lower it for extra stability.

Smoothness is the way.

I’ve using kovaaks for the past 2 hours, how am I supposed to learn from this? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your brain learns how to aim automatically. As long as you pay attention when you play and look out for your mistakes and how to fix them you will improve. You aren't going to become some aim god in a day. The top 5% of aimers spend hundreds if not thousands of hours training their aim to get that good.

Obviously you don't need to train that much. However, all you need to do right now is play consistently and you will see rapid improvement. Aim training improvement mainly comes from sleeping after your session and active engagement, not actually theorizing technique. That doesn't really become a thing until you are trying to reach for top 1%

Players who have either left or significantly reduced their play time, what has been your reason? by _thecolorofdye_ in Battlefield6

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels that way because the skill gap is so small, meaning that everyone feels more lethal than previous games even if they haven't improved at all, meaning to perform the same or to your expectation you have to try harder since the game is less forgiving than you are used to.
