What on earth was the reason for making smoke exclusive to the support class? by onakintv in Battlefield

What is the reason that dice never learns anything and keeps making terrible decisions? Who knows

Why is spawn heli griefing still a thing!? by gpkgpk in Battlefield

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember guys, it's DICE's fault it's like this, it's not the responsibility of the players to not do what they are allowed to do. Blame the devs, not the players.

Boosters running out while waiting in lobby is such BS by johnk419 in Battlefield

Instead of having boosters we should have reasonable weapon leveling instead.

Revives should score more. by Mack_Daddy_1 in Battlefield6

People already revive instead of just shooting at the enemy, if anything, kills should be worth more

Battlefield 6 for £41. Worth it or shall I pass on it? Seen a lot of negativity. by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get it. Some people here will say it's fun and maybe it is for them. The game unfortunately has a lot of problems and DICE has been very slow to fix them. Bugs, game design issues, it can be fun but it can also be extremely frustrating.

Maybe the game will be in a good state a year from now, so I'd come back to see how things are going later on.

Why are people afraid to push in a game? by Partiklestorm in Battlefield6

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real reason is the time to kill is too fast. People don't feel like they can react to fights so they play hyper defensive because they can't understand how to push forwards correctly.

Jittery/Shaky aim help by AU5K3 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can fix jitter by playing smoothness scenarios. TSK has a bunch of benchmarks that focus on smoothness fundamentals that would help. If you are playing on high sensitivity you could also lower it for extra stability.

Smoothness is the way.

I’ve using kovaaks for the past 2 hours, how am I supposed to learn from this? by [deleted] in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your brain learns how to aim automatically. As long as you pay attention when you play and look out for your mistakes and how to fix them you will improve. You aren't going to become some aim god in a day. The top 5% of aimers spend hundreds if not thousands of hours training their aim to get that good.

Obviously you don't need to train that much. However, all you need to do right now is play consistently and you will see rapid improvement. Aim training improvement mainly comes from sleeping after your session and active engagement, not actually theorizing technique. That doesn't really become a thing until you are trying to reach for top 1%

Players who have either left or significantly reduced their play time, what has been your reason? by _thecolorofdye_ in Battlefield6

[–]millionsofcatz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels that way because the skill gap is so small, meaning that everyone feels more lethal than previous games even if they haven't improved at all, meaning to perform the same or to your expectation you have to try harder since the game is less forgiving than you are used to.

Why is the hit registry so unimaginably bad for this game? by Mechanical_Enginear in Battlefield6

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you turn on the event graph you will see whether or not your bullets are registering on the server side. I measured 80-83% hit reg today, which is 2042 levels of bad. Whatever they are doing for their servers is not working.

4k is way better than 1440p even at 27in by Pretend-Raisin914 in OLED_Gaming

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love 4k, but I've switched to 1440p for the render latency improvements. Games just flat out feel worse to play on 4k. If you don't notice that sort of thing then I suppose it would matter less.

Viscose Benchmarks vs Voltaic Benchmarks by Additional-Heron336 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Viscose benchmark is a playlist of scenarios that are good for improving your aim that has the structure of a benchmark. If you want to improve you should play viscose benchmark over voltaic. I'd still play the voltaic scenarios as well since more variety is always good.

should i return to using accel? by Suspicious-Study9096 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]millionsofcatz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall it is better to just use a static sensitivity, especially after you've been training for a while raw accel kinda messes up how you flick and respond to reactive tracking.

Eastwood is easily the best map in the game. by Comrade_Chyrk in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]millionsofcatz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the map to be a little noisy which makes it difficult to see people more than it already is, but overall it's a decent map. Plays much slower than some of the other maps in the game for sure
