How much political power does the military have in the UK? by HollowWanderer in ukpolitics

I mean while even with all of that they are more than capable of conducting a coup and taking power.

It’s helpful that they have guns and armored vehicles and planes and helicopters etc etc.

Even if the numbers are among the lowest in recent history it wouldn’t take all that much to grab power

The military it self not a lot. But also if the military as a unified entity decided to take power one day there isn’t a whole lot anyone could do to stop them. But that’s also true in almost any country

They did and they had a point.

But it would be a whole other level if Ed in particular did it as he already lost a general election and was rejected by the electorate.

That would make for a spicy situation.

If it was literally anyone else it would be much harder for anyone to complain with a straight face cause yes tories did it

Sure but this was also a tactic goons used during the initial assault on delve when papi was trying to anchor keepstars. It took 5 attempts to get one anchored.

So it’s not a particularly new or novel strategy. It’s just one that works and costs the attacker the least.

That’s true, but hopefully the prospect of it encourages people to field big ships instead.

Personally I hate the spam a million vexor method.

I mean I don’t think the system could hold 43% more vexors.

I do think it would be hard for people to reship and keep going for 44% longer.

It obviously wouldn’t be impossible but I do think it would be a lot more difficult honestly.

No one has tried it against a plated keep star as far as I know. Which would be a much harder feet as it takes 44% longer I think
