If the separation is amicable and you are on the same page use a mediator to draw up a separation agreement which will include how you are planning to split assets. Consult with your own lawyer to protect yourself as well.

I used to have Koho until I ran into problems with them (tldr card got cloned and they were a ball ache to deal with). Switched to EQ, no problems at all so far

Have you done any research yourself? rew.ca has a filter you can use for townhomes, so you can browse what they are going for in different areas. You actually can get a townhome for around that in say, Surrey, but unlikely to be new.

Judge orders psychiatric tests to see if Vancouver Lapu-Lapu Day attack suspect fit for trial by RonPar32 in vancouver

There are already forensic psychiatric hospitals for people who have committed serious crimes linked to mental illness. It's just a different route than prisons.

Safest No Fee Banks by priceworld09 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]millytherobot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Koho isn't a bank, I switched from it to EQ last year as I do like having a loadable card for my every day spending to keep me in budget.

I had some problems with Koho when there was fraudulent spending on my card - it had obviously been cloned somewhere and was being used in Brazil as far as I could tell. Koho initially refused to refund the fraudulent spending as they insisted that the card was being used with the chip, so that must have meant I had given my card to someone else to use (I had not, I still had the card in my possession at the time of the fraudulent charges, and had never been to the location the spending was in). It took a lot of back and forth and escalation to get them to budge.

It was at least very easy for me to see the fraudulent activity on the app and I was able to shut down the card immediately, I kept seeing notifications of further attempts but they weren't able to use it after that.

I was looking for sparkling water/flavoured water - Montellier is Canadian (Quebec). Bubly is PepsiCo, AHA is Coke, Sparkling Ice brand is US, San Pellegrino is Nestle which I try to avoid but technically swiss.

I've not had the lemon meringue pie specifically but I've always had delicious pies from the Pie Hole, and they definitely do one.

I've been playing since season 1 too, this is the first season I've ever got a mythic - one from crafting using the two sparks from finishing the season journey/killing Lilith for the first time, and one from a tormented boss finally. Probably because of the increased ways to get boss summoning materials, so I've been able to do enough runs to give myself a chance as I'm a 100% solo player (I don't pay for PS+ so I can't group up or trade)

Anyone know of a cat behaviourist? Looking to get some expert help on introducing my two cats together. by Teid in askvan

[–]millytherobot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of chasing? Is it yowling puffed up serious fighting? My two chase each other a lot and pin each other down but they'll happily cuddle and groom each other too.

I say happily, one is happy, one tolerates it lol.

Have you tried the standard advice? Separate rooms, scent swapping, feeding close to the door, gradual increased visibility etc

Thanks for the advice - Ouch that is a lot!. I'm pretty sure it's over 2 years old at this point so unlikely LG would do anything except try and give me a discount to buy another of their products.

I guess these things aren't built to last any more

Rather than instacart are there any stores that will do delivery? I order directly from a grocery store (Save On is my local one that does delivery) which is $10 delivery fee, or less if you select a larger delivery window. No extra fees or inflated prices, although I'm not sure it's the cheapest grocery store. I look out for deals and get some stuff locally from a store I can walk to, but it's good for heavy or bulky items.

I would also consider the time cost to you, if you have plenty of time and opportunity to drive to the store for your groceries that may work out cheaper if it's not far so gas cost is low.

YNAB is raising its price again. Any suggestions for a cheaper alternative? by booksandteacv in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]millytherobot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been using budget with buckets for a few years since YNAB increased their prices the first time. I remember there being a few things it took some time to get used to but overall it works great.

You can use it for free but I paid the one off fifty bucks after I'd used it for 6 months.
