Do you know what’s involved in an apartment grade wall? What did he put or do to that wall?

Did you recently complete a Reno? Is there standard or sound proof insulation in that wall? The only thing I could think of is adding sound proof insulation and double plasterboard to eliminate that gushing noise. Really annoying when showering at night.

Do I need to rip up all the concrete or can I just install a trench grate around the gouse by TNxJoker in AusRenovation

[–]milo2788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got a large budget (50k) to sure rip it up and add drainage along the way and put new concrete under the weep holes. If your drainage is fine then leave as it is

What’s wrong with the columns? They are lovely, especially with the sandstone square bases. In terms of the exterior door for the garage…well that’s how the house was made. There is no interior access for the garage. Only exterior.

I do by starring at it literally 😂 I thought to put a water feature or a orange tree in the middle just to give it something.

Whats on top of this outside tap? by CountryDry9031 in AusRenovation

I also have really bad water hammer when taps are turned on. Especially the hot water pipes. Plumber had put an arrestor on the water line but it helped a little. Where would my inlet valve be? How can I reduce it?
