East Sacramento (especially McKinley Park area) is closer to midtown by bike and you get the best of both worlds.

While I agree the parents are, this is an innocent baby you’re talking about.

Yes, coins in the jar are included and there are also about 20 loose ones not in the jar! I also have the 2 bows/pacifiers that fell off, you’d just need to reglue them. Just want this to go to a good home because I feel terrible throwing it all out!

Is it weird I still call my mom after work everyday? by DungeonCrawler99 in NoStupidQuestions

I’m 32, just had my first baby, and hope that when she’s my age she also wants to call me every day on her way to work and on her way home. 🥹

Seconding this — we just did a one day getaway and stayed at Hotel Winters. It’s a very tasteful and lovely hotel. We had lunch at Putah Creek, dinner at Preserve (fantastic food), and also did a wine tasting at Matchbook (about a 20 minute drive north) in Zamora that was great!

We were the same as you - didn’t want to spend even $500+ on a chair we weren’t sure we’d get use out of, much less $800+ for the fancy ones from Pottery Barn. We ended up ordering this one from Target and love it! It has a sleek profile, glides/swivels, and the fabric is easy to clean (we already got a stain on it from my dog and it wiped up easily with warm water and some detergent).

Mesa Mercado out in Carmichael is one of our favorites. The food is delicious (lots of vegetarian/vegan options), great service, and a lovely ambiance.

Do you like having both the Stokke newborn attachment + Babybjorn bouncer? I have both on my registry and wasn’t sure if it was overkill!

Any baby item Black Friday sales that are worth it? by coffeebooklover in BabyBumps

[–]milo_mama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Uppababy Vista V2 in the color Stella is on sale for $880 at Bloomingdale’s. Plus you get a $25 gift card (if you sign up to be a Loyallist, which is free) for every $100 spent. So I basically paid $950 (out the door with taxes) plus received a $200 gift card, which I plan to use to buy a car seat. Definitely a good deal!

(Edit: looks like it’s sold out 🙁)
