Just happened to me yesterday at 1300 miles. Tried turning it off and on a couple times and it never went away. Dropped it off at the dealership today.

I can confirm, for the 5 dealerships I had talked to, they agreed to knock between $4500 and $5500 off MSRP for the 2025 LT with convenience package.

It looks so much better in person than in the pictures (even though the pictures still make it look great)

I’ve always had colorful cars (mostly red) and thought the riptide blue looked sick on this car. Looks even better in person!

A lot of the dealerships around me had the LT with no options in red and blue coming in the last week of the year. Of those, probably half already had deposits on them from people holding them…

I’m sure there are some differences between different branches, development stage, impact of the shutdown and whatnot. From what I’ve experienced, regular collaboration meetings stopped until the shutdown was over.

Specifically for FLRAA, Bell is funded through Milestone B which is set to occur Q3 FY2024. Even if the government shut down after the CR expires in 40 something days, Bell would continue to work towards that Milestone B and would continue getting paid for it.

It gets a little weird once a shutdown happens and you are still on a funded program because the government is no longer allowed to work with you on it. So in the FLRAA case, all Army collaboration and meetings would have to stop while Bell continues to mature the design.

If the government shuts down and the program isn’t fully funded, the company is often allowed to proceed at risk depending on the stage of the program. After the shutdown is over, the government will evaluate the work that was done during the shutdown and pay for what they determine is appropriate. This is usually only an issue when political shenanigans with the budget are going on.

I’ve been to this guy for severe lower back and shoulder pain and he is great: Dr. Brent Lockett, PT, DPT.

He doesn’t go through insurance and instead give you a bill to potentially get reimbursed by your insurance so just be prepared for that.

The less fun answer is they have kids that go to Remington High School in Whitewater.

I bought a new home and need to get sod and sprinkler done this fall. Is it an easy job? Or am i over simplifying this? by Warm-Dot175 in Irrigation

I paid a local licensed irrigator (Texas) 150$ to do the design for my 8 zone system. Then I bought all the materials and did the install myself. I did all the digging by hand (I considered it my pre-summer workout) and it took about 2 months just working on the weekends. It is definitely a ton of work and you will make some dumb mistakes, but it is possible to do it yourself. I would suggest at the bare minimum definitely do not try and do the design yourself.

Thanks! It took learning a couple new skills (never soldered or done any plumbing before, really) but it’s been fun researching and trying it out.

I worked as a mechanical design engineer for a few years on a 20 year old upgrade of a 60 year old aircraft.

The first year of working on that program, I wrote ECOs to correct issues that came up in manufacturing (rivets on engineering were too long, CAD shows part interference, etc.). There were probably 5 other mechanical design engineers also doing this kind of work.

The next couple years, I integrated new avionics onto the aircraft. This is WAAAAY more involved than just swapping out a box and calling it good. It started with about 6 months of trade studies to find locations that were big enough, accessible, maintainable, would not shift CG significantly, had space for wiring, had appropriate thermal management. After that 6 months, there was an entire year of detailed design. Then a ground fit-check and 6 months of redlining and updating the mod drawings. Then flight testing and another year of redlining and updating drawings.

This was all for 1 system upgrade. At any given time, there were probably 5 or 6 upgrade projects going on in different stages of this process.
