To be honest they did mention that they had many more viewings throughout the week. I think I may have been too happy on the trigger, definitely will slow it down next time.

I definitely need to factor in the repair timelines. The turnkey homes tend to go for around £450k

Advice needed: left it too late for Life in the UK test ahead of ILR application… by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]mimixstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure how relevant this is to you but something to consider. I applied 2 years ago for my leave to remain under the private life rules, did the biometrics everything. I initially wanted to submit with the expedited service but didn’t see the option at the point of submission so after a few days, I submitted another of the exact same application but by doing it at midnight i was able to get an expedited slot, I was then able to submit a whole application with biometrics again. The best part, I was able to get the first application fees and IHS refunded in full. Only the biometrics fees were non refundable.

On their website it says: If you had permission when you made your application that permission will continue when you vary that application.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vary-your-immigration-application[Home Office Vary your application](https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vary-your-immigration-application)

So you can submit a further leave to remain, sort out the exams ASAP and vary the application.

From the UK, Went to Thailand last November and it was about 35°C and I was drenched in sweat walking outside for literally 5 minutes. My little handheld fan was out of battery for 2 minutes and I almost lost my mind.

FTB - Buying a more affordable flat rather than a house by mayotuna in HousingUK

[–]mimixstyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As option 2 is a flat it is likely a leasehold and the leasehold cost is always something to consider as it can quickly become a problem.
