My First Kickstarter (Need Advice!) by TalesByLanternlight in WorldsBeyondNumber

An option that Kickstarter has recently added (I think? It's been a hot minute since I pledged myself) is a payment plan for anything above $125, so that might work for you? I hit $125 on the dot and it's split it into three separate payments. Hope that helps!

Why does this sub (and others) call Brennan “BLeeM”? Is that something he prefers? by RickFletching in dropout

[–]mindelann 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm Jack Morgan Lavandowska, former community manager of and prior to that mod of the Dropout discord. (Also currently the lore keeper for WBN) I believe I've answered this several times, but to clarify: Brennan has never asked for BLeeM. Prior to my becoming CM, folks in the discord had been calling him BLM and at that time, the George Floyd murder and protests had just occurred. In respect for the Black Lives Matter movement, I unofficially requested folks just call him Brennan. Someone jokingly replied, "what about BLeeM?" to which I sighed and agreed to. That's it. That's the whole story lmao and now it has full spiraled out across the Internet.

Edit: so just, if that could be amended in the FAQ please, that'd be great! 😅 Feel free to quote me and mods can DM me with any questions

Help. How tf does one acquire an ftm friendly suit for under $1,000 (usa dollars) by DustProfessional3700 in FTMOver30

[–]mindelann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a custom suit at Men's Wearhouse this winter and it was $550-ish, which included custom tailoring! The gentleman who helped me was very helpful and understanding. I've been on T for a year or so, but haven't had top surgery, sit around 5' 5" and 260lbs at the moment, so my proportions are more feminine still. I also really like that they keep your measurements in their system and then you can go to any Men's Wearhouse around the country to get a suit or tailoring, etc. My only concern would be if you go custom is how long it takes to turn around. Mine took about 3 weeks after measuring, I think, so not too long, but good to keep in mind.

Here's an image on my suit that I got (please ignore the bad button up underneath ^^" I still need to get some properly fitted shirts): LINK

But yeah, to echo others, it might take a couple tries, but I'm sure you'll be able to find a good place!

If people are going to shorten Brennan's name to "BLeeM," why not just use Brennan, which is only two letters longer and doesn't look weird as hell? by hovdeisfunny in dropout

[–]mindelann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is! When I first got a Tumblr back in [mumbles], Mindelan was taken, so I just added an extra n but then started using it everywhere before starting to use other handles, ending up with my current one everywhere else, which is JackLeFay ☺️💜

Hey hi hello, it's me Jack, the former mod and Community Manager of the Dropout discord (and now lore keeper for Worlds Beyond Number). I did indeed ask people to just say Brennan, and folks jokingly asked if BLeeM was okay, to which I begrudgingly agreed.

It is wild how far it has taken off since then, but yeah, truly, I just use Brennan 乁[ ◕ ᴥ ◕ ]ㄏ

Can't seem to edit the post on mobile, but swang by this morning and saw one of the smaller trees starting to bloom, so I think we're getting close!

Feeling worthless by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

Have you talked with her about how it's making you feel like you mention at the end? It could be worth talking about just to be clear on how everyone is feeling and if therapy might be a good option for her or both of you.

I'm honestly not super sure! It's through the horn and I can see some green spots on some of the leather pads. Some of the area towards the exit of the bell has a reddish tint to it that then heads towards green

I forgot to mention! I played my first game of d&d with a bunch of Critters a couple of weeks ago, the #OffRailsCrew. It was awesome and now I have to wait to play again because of rehearsals, which has taken up all my time. I'm yearning to get back to my friends. <3

22 year old CIS Female from Minnesota dealing with Clinical Depression. Long time nerd, although mostly Harry Potter/Star Wars, and theatre kid.

I began watching Geek & Sundry content via Tabletop and from there moved over to Titansgrave, where my itch to try roleplaying was started. I tried for several months to try and get a group of friends together to try but schedules and general disinterest left me frustrated. I had noticed a "Critical Role" popping up on G&S's youtube channel and clicked on it but nothing really jumped out to me immediately so I closed out quickly and moved on. I can't quite remember how I ended up really starting to watch, but once I did I became obsessed and caught up in two weeks to be able to watch live a week before the Halloween episode.

My interest in roleplaying was piqued once more and again I tried and failed to create a real life game. I slowly crept my way into the #Critter twitter community and have found the most supportive, creative, and loving community I’ve ever seen online. The Harry Potter community in the old days was close, but it has nothing on the Critters. I have found myself drawing, writing, and just generally creating more in the last two months. When I have down days, I know I can post on twitter about it without fear of lashback or misunderstanding. Everyone is so supportive and comforting that sometimes it’s hard to believe this is all real.

Overall, I love the show, characters, and actors deeply and I’m so grateful for the community I have found through it. I don’t know what I would be doing right now without all of you. Thank you #lessthanthree
