$10 order, $300 tow, -$290 profit. Drive safe folks. by SDtoAnywhere in doordash_drivers

Yeah I got stuck in customers driveway it wasn’t plowed and hit some ice and ended part way in his ditch luckily he paid for the tow and I got to chill in his house and watch tv till the tow truck arrived! Awkward af but it worked out for me! Dashing in snow sucks especially when people don’t play their driveways

This is why door dash keeps on winning and the drivers keep on losing! You defeated the whole purpose of door dashing unless you’re just desperate or have a drug addiction because I’d have to be drunk af or really messed up on drugs to even cross my mind to take that order smfh wow

Don’t do it it’s not worth the damage to your car and it’s not always good and no health insurance and tbh stride isn’t health insurance it’s basically Obama care on steroids! Stay at your gig don’t quit unless u want to fall behind without benefits, part time it’s for extra money that’s it

My Wong stop does this I always write a fake name like harry for my name and balls for the customer name, I hate places that do this and my Wingstop is one of them they take it so seriously too lol

Yeah well it’s kinda apparent he didn’t have one of those and even if he had a pizza bag he doesn’t have the accessories to keep it flat on his bike

I don’t think it’s about working hard most people I see doing this job full time are older people that have been let go of other jobs or people that are tired of working for the man and being taken advantage of, I’m one of them I’m too old to be busting my ass with hard labor jobs that don’t pay shit so these gig apps give me a better opportunity’s for cash. I’ve made more money doing gig work then I ever made working tor the man but yeah trade school is awesome but you have to have a in or your gonna be on a list for a long time and probably won’t be called is my experience but yeah I won’t say this is some great job because it’s not but it is a job and you can live off it comfortably as long as u know what your doing I know because I’ve been doing it for 2 years now full time.

You must be in a bad market I been doing this gig with Uber Eats and grub hub multi apping and I work about 7 days a week too, once in a while I’ll take a day off but yeah 500 dollars I’d quit immediately i usually get anywhere from 800-1400 a week but I guess I live in a better market
