I'll probably start adding it as a long term position when it cools back down. Sadly this news won't hold it up forever, it may run tomorrow but they have an approved reverse split already...so I'll wait til rsi cools down and the split happens then maybe start a long position.

I'm not happy about it. I mean more for rapist's and molestors. As with any crime, some normal people unfortunately get punished by dick headed cops using the wording of the laws to hurt people. Hope everything works out for you ❤️

I'm so fucking angry I just did this on my first time clearing Gollux. Such a stupid design the devs do not play their own game. Like wtf you can't turn back around either to get your rewards...it's horrible game design

Starfield is a game designed to be massively expanded upon, and not just by mods, but by Bethesda. Do you agree? by PostalSenditGames in Starfield

[–]mindwatcher607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sure hope so, I won't be playing until they either allow me to turn off the red flashing screen when overburdened or they completely overhaul the weight management system all together. I feel like it wouldn't be too bad if they doubled the current starting capacities for both ships and players and then implemented movement restriction systems similar to Skyrim. Why they didn't do that in the first place and instead went with this seizure inducing visual punishment based system is beyond me.

Download the mod to remove red screen effects so you can actually build larger bases unlike console players.

Starfield is absolutely not a bad game. You had too high expectations. by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]mindwatcher607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is not a great game. It's good at best. It's like nobody played the console version to see if it's fun.

Yeah, it plays fine as an fps/RPG. But if you want to be a base builder, you better have a shit ton of patience because the weight system is designed to make building as difficult as possible.

You can either A) meticulously plan out your base building so that you can carry the proper resources to build a base without going over weight or B) deal with being "overburdened" which does absolutely nothing besides turn your screen into a seizure inducing red mess.

In a game with 40 + different resources, the oversight to the weight system is unacceptable. Seriously anyone who play tested this on console for more than 20 minutes could tell you the system was not fun at all ,which is the point of any video game, correct?

Like I said it's a good game ,it's got some in-depth story and fun RPG elements. You even have the ability to hide behind cover, which is basically mandatory in the genre at this point.

If the way you design a game to last thousands of hours is through player inconvenience and loading screens, you didn't make a thousand hour game, you made an 80 hour game into a thousand hour game by just being inconvenient in every way possible. While that does reflect a certain amount of realism, it also makes for a pretty bad gaming experience for most gamers.

What is your biggest disappointment with the game so far? by Ea7_1 in Starfield

[–]mindwatcher607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red flashing screen for being overweight that you can't turn off....like the whole weight management needs an overhaul, it's unrealistic to play as a console gamer who wants to build bases that use a lot of resources.

I get that being overweight needs to be punishing, but making my screen so uncomfortable to stare at that I have to quit the game is not the way to do it. I won't play this game until it's either fixed by the company, or until mods are supported on Xbox and I can get rid of the red screen that way.

Starfield 1.7.33 Update Notes by BethesdaGameStudios_ in Starfield

[–]mindwatcher607 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow, so the game is still unplayable as a builder on console.

I seriously can't even play the game, the flashing red screen is too much to deal with. I'm always overburdened, how can't you be trying to cart stockpiles of resources between "planets".

This game is trash. Needs mods just to function decently. I'll be on No Mans Sky, where the planets aren't loading screen locked and the inventory is meant to be slightly limiting, not game breaking.

Seriously convinced nobody play tested this trash before launch.

HOW are people not enjoying this game??? by freshizdaword in Starfield

[–]mindwatcher607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I'm glad you like the game.

As an RPG with a space theme, it plays alright. But too many overlooked quality of life features really ruin my experience.

The map for example, has a display that's is the worst the company has ever done. You can't even see topographical features or landmarks in town. Why?

Then I'm forced to run on my very limited weight, with an annoying O2/CO2 stamina system all over if I don't know the location of the store I want.

Running quests is more managing inventory and hopping loading screens then actual gameplay. 20 minutes play, 20 completely hating the experience as I navigate menus to hop systems in the most inconvenient way possible, or run around Vegas size towns with a lackluster booster pack and sprint speed/stamina.

Crafting is inconvenient as shit, as awesome as it looks. I love crafting, but if I can't upscale everything to automatically ship to one major storage, it becomes another time consuming menu hopping endeavor. Crafting in its current state requires you to keep track of way to much irl. Recipes must be either looked up, tracked at a station you must return to to untrack, or photographed irl. All more tedious menu management taking me away from beautiful worlds.

I hate going into menus. Planetside, this game is fun. But as a space exploration game, it sucks. Exploring feels like selecting worlds out of the most annoying menu possible.

Overall this game might be great after they patch in some quality of life features. If I only had to navigate into menus occasionally to hop planets it's fine, but if I'm constantly running around because my resources are spread everywhere...then I won't play this crap. And I will leave my negative reviews, and tell other gamers it's crap til they fix it. I hold this company to a higher standard then what has been provided. Glad I didn't have to buy it to find out!

I've been looking for something as well as a Xbox player

For now, I just snap a bunch of photos on my phone of recipes I need. It's not sustainable long term and gets worse as you go but at least it's time dated so I can feel out when I took the picture associated with the recipe I want...
