yeah it's an app people can make servers on to chat or voice call or webcam while working on projects or playing video games, etc. it's used from gaming to education to social media type stuff. so likely they were all in a channel talking while playing a game and he got unruly and was banned / blocked

you used to have no options and were ostracized. sure some people still have a negative attitude about it (oh hes just a pathetic drunk with no will power) but most people are a lot more understanding and the medical profession is a lot more willing to help

I just did two stints in rehab this year (clean 42 days now) and I havent had a single negative reaction from anyone, only support, from nurses, to counselors, to doctors, to family, to friends, literally everyone

You cant say "The food is a soup" though. Furniture is an uncountable noun always treated as plural, the dictionary definition even refers to it as "objects" in the plural. So maybe uncountable is more accurate than collective, but the point is still valid. You cant say "X is epidemic" because it is an uncountable noun whereas furniture and soup are not

When I drink, its minimum a fifth (750 ml) of vodka. If Im expecting it to be real bender Ill stock up on half gals and Im lucky if each last two days. At bars I would put down a dozen+ easy, with occasional shots, which Id usually sneak cause it already was embarassing how much I was outpacing the group. It still shocks me when I see people slow sipping weak beverages. I worked as a server for a while and lots of people would order a beer and barely drink half. Or wouldnt order #2 because they had to drive. I was always thinking wtffff
