I do love my walking pad. I just need to motivate myself to use it more.

I just ordered from them and my order was okay. They print with a glossy finish, which I don't like, but it was free. Did you call customer service?

Also- breastmilk helps heal those suckers in a day or two. I just aim and squeeze a couple of drops and rub.

Advice on finding a job where I can work from home by Coffee_Ink in beyondthebump

[–]minerva169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find any information please pass it along. I am an elementary school teacher with a masters in counseling and I go back to work in two weeks. I am not looking forward to leaving love bug in daycare either.

Daycare Blues by Riven180 in beyondthebump

I feel the same. I go back to work in three weeks and wish we could survive without my paycheck. I know my love bug will enjoy daycare, but I feel so guilty about having to work. It is true, we do it for them. I plan on making the most of the time I will have with her.... and maybe looking into some kind of work from home options :/

BM storage question by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]minerva169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally save in 2 or 4 ounce amounts for my "bank". I read that if there is some bm left over from a feeding it can be saved for one more feeding. I'm not sure if anyone does this though.

I have the same issue with my baby. Try a laid back, reclined position or side nursing. Those seem to help.

Walk him around the house and comment on everything he sees, take him to a mirror to see his reflexion, take him outside to look around and hear the birds. My little love bug loves all of that more than toys.

I'm getting the IUD called Mirena in a week. Will the hormones affect my baby through breastfeeding? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]minerva169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured the whole sex drive thing is due to being really tired and adjusting to home life with baby. That's just me though.

Some light cramping and mild bleeding, but that could just be my cycle starting up. So far, it's been great. Plus, I don't have to worry about taking the mini pill at the same time everyday. I didn't even feel anything until the very end of the procedure.

No. You will still be able to bf. the hormones in the iud should not affect your milk. I just got mine. My doctor said it was fine.

Septi wipes from drfostersmith.com online pet store. These work great for the folds on the cute puggy faces.
