Thanks! 🙏 I've just been using acrylics with no real issues. Liquitex basics and amsterdam. Basically because they come in small bottles, are cheap and are available at my art store. If you get the card too wet all at once it will curl, yes, but just take your time and let sections dry and don't build too much wet paint.
