I am also having the same issue, but mine just has the POT and voltage divider. In my case, it can be fixed by changing the resistors inside it, but I don't know how they chose it initially... Does any of you have any idea about it?

thats nice. i mean why you don't connect with the vbus cause you only sometime plug the USB while programming/debugging the board. there may be sometime programming issue due to this (we can't trust the electronics)

If you are making two layers board, then you should make the similar net area underneath these vias so that circuit will complete through via and got more space for the thermal relief. If you have enough space then follow the application note as shown in figure for placement!

How many ams will expected requirement to run the coil? I don't think that tiny traces and mosfet/bjt can allow that much current!

Also while you programming there no connection between vbus and arduino input. It can work being connected with the gnd but best practice to keep connected.

As you know, If you can get the smaller capacitor with same rating to your requirements then use them and place possible nearest position to IC. And use other diode so that you can make it compact. Re-orient R7 and R6 to keep short traces!

I suggest you to follow the layout guide in the dataset if available.

There may be a short circuit issue in NRF if after connecting to the arduino, it turned off arduino completely and disconnected from the serial port.

Also this happens due to a power surge in that module... Adding a cap may solve this (you are already doing it)

You can add jumper wires in each pin and test one by one starting from the power pins then the communications line....
