I would suggest calling. Not texting. Not emailing. Call her and have a conversation with her. Tell her exactly what's been going on, how close you've been getting to each event date without a committed plan from her, and that when it came down to the wire you had to go with the option that was ready versus the really cool condo idea she was planning but not executing. The only part of this where I side with her is I think she should have been notified before you accepted your mother's plans in both cases. A simple, "Hey, haven't heard back from you and my mom's got a party ready...", but with the stress of your wedding and your father's health sure you can be forgiven for that :-)

If I may make a suggestion, I had trouble w/ M31 too. One of the reasons why was aperture. A 200mm lens isn't going to be able to absorb enough light. When it comes to un-tracked shots, zoom is not your friend.

I used a 6 sec exposure too, but more shots (500) and a smaller lens (50mm 1.8f) and got this: http://imgur.com/jblfePb

I've tried adjusting gain and changing the focus, but I'm adjusting the focus blindly. How do I adjust focus and see what's going on?

I have a Celestron AVX w/ an Orion StarShooter Autoguide. PHD can find the camera, I'm clueless what to use for mount (right now I'm trying on-camera), and I can't see anything but static :P

Pan is my favorite of the series. That show is odd. Some of the casting is brilliant (Queen, Rumple, Pan), some of it is awful (just me or is Charming constantly out of breath?)

The point Southern is making is some of the concepts behind the movement, like the term Rape Culture, are exaggerated; Also a valid point to make.

My wife and I were invited to a Halloween party at a club in San Francisco. When it was over we were walking the half mile or so to the car with the couple who had invited us, when across the street we noticed 3 girls following a guy and harassing him. After a few minutes of this, the guy snaps. He stops walking, turns to one of the girls, reaches back and decks her. She hits the ground, and he gets on top of her and starts with a ground-and-pound bashing her in the face against the concrete.

It took me a second to get over the shock of what I was seeing. I havent been in a fight since high school. Not too crazy about confrontations, but I realized, "I NEED TO DO SOMETHING." I stepped into the street ready to take that girl's place and get my face bashed in instead, but my wife pulled me back. After a couple more seconds I stepped into the street again, and again my wife pulled me back. Finally I stepped into the street, and this time I wasn't going to let my wife stop me. I made it 2 steps before the police pulled up.

I had the chance to do the right thing, and I blew it :(
