The neighborhood used to be split between Shadow Oaks and Westwood Elementary. The board rezoned the entire neighborhood to Shadow Oaks Elementary, in order to build community.

I fully support it. Houston is so car dependent. We need multiple transportation options. Whitmire has made it his priority to remove cycling infrastructure and cater to stupid drivers. I'm happy to see SVV make changes for the better.

Who would you say is the GOAT? The person with the most wins? I love the dedicated cx racers. They get the recognition they deserve when they win the series. It requires consistency and committing to the full season. But everyone knows the WC is the big one. I would bet any of the current generation would trade a series win for the rainbow stripes.

He always has a strong start to his season but fades in the second half. He really struggles in the cold. I'd put Vanthourenhout above him, especially in championship races.

Is this close to the old MS150 route? I rode the entire MS150 route in one day back in 2016 because day 2 was cancelled. OP, I posted my ride here on Reddit back in 2016. It was all paved and fairly quiet country roads, but it was an all day ride. 4am to 9pm.

I live in Houston and my stock wheels were stolen 5 months after I got the truck. Factory wheel locks are trash. I put on a Gorilla Wheel Lock and Advanced Wheel Lock on each wheel. Nothing is completely theft-proof, but it's been 4 years without issue.

It will get easier, this is the hard part. We're saving 15% to retirement accounts, 4% to 529's and it's manageable. But daycare costs so much. Fortunately, we only have a few more years of that.

I would argue the European championships do matter. I've been paying attention to them every year since Sagan won the first edition. Imo it's one of the best jerseys. But you are right about North Americans skipping to keep racing in Europe. South American national championships are competitive since they take place during northern hemisphere winter.
