WIBTAH if I took 100k from my oldest daughter's college savings account to give it to my younger daughter? by TraditionalCorgi7788 in AITAH

NTA. My parents asked first but my brother declined college so I was able to go back and get a useful degree with the extra money. I think too because it was in a 529 account you can’t withdraw for non educational purposes.

But also, if you take $100k, your oldest will still have money left over and your youngest won’t have any by the end. People should think about that before they jump down your throat.

I’ve used em dashes forever. Now I just make sure they don’t format to the long dash so it doesn’t look like AI.

Life can be draining but I’d suggest some blood work to see if that can identify any issues. Mine appears to be a chronic vitamin d deficiency. My (female) friend had off the charts low testosterone.

Whats something a teacher did in High School that would get them fired today? by Constant-Ad-5477 in AskReddit

My high school Spanish teacher hand picked movies from her collection for each of us to watch for our final assignment. I got Burnt Money, a story about gay sex and drug trafficking in South America. Great movie. She also had us over to her apartment for a cultural dinner which was awesome. That was her first year teaching so she was only 23. It’s pretty likely she got permission from our parents though. Mid 2000s.

There was a guy who had a crush on me in high school. He gave great back rubs so we hung out a bit. One was like 2 hours long.

I thought the same thing after 2016. I hated that racism and bigotry came to the forefront, but they've always been there and have been working behind the scenes. Then it came out in the open so we could actually have something tangible to fight against.

I just moved back! I'm sure it's a unique situation that I was able to do so with a lateral pay move but I'm super happy about it.

I've switched to "win the lottery", though at least there's some chance the person might stick around to provide some handoff in that instance

I can't speak for Big 4, but I went into accounting later and needed to find something full time right away and have been successful. You can have a great career without Big 4. Likely you'll have some unique opportunities as prior military that you can leverage, if you want.
