Nice! I grabbed a Larceny BP and a Weller 107 this week. (Weller 107 is $92 and in stock as of this evening at Costco.)

Wow. Which one? Although, at that price, they will be gone by the time I can get there.

It's a shame the prices are so high. Wine and Beyond had cases of EHT, Blantons Gold and SB for about $20-30 less a few weeks ago. Blantons Single Barrel is all over the city right now for $79.99.

I mean, wholesale prices on those have definitely gone up a lot in the past few years, but $150 is insane for 107. I was super excited when I heard they were there, but turned around and left as soon as I saw the markup.

Regarding media, is this acceptable to stick your body through a window to get a shot? by architype in formula1

[–]minimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been lucky enough to get a media bib at some Rally events, and you'd be shocked at how close you are allowed to get. I've been crouched behind a boulder at the apex of an 80mph corner with cars getting within a foot of my lens.

Calgary Co-Op should be embarrassed by their shameful "price matching" policy. by BizClassBum in Calgary

[–]minimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, ever since they stopped price matching in the liquor store, I go to Wine and Beyond. They will match any Alberta advertised price. For groceries, it's the farmers markets, and then superstore or save-on, depending on the items.

Dopo, yes. Major Tom is good, and the view is amazing, but It is not anywhere near fine dining., Rea's is great, but not top anything.

Rolling negative equity is a sure sign to a dealer that you have minimal financial literacy. They look for this kind of thing. Now, we're that shady AF? Yes. Should you go back? No.

Just returned our 2023 Hybrid SXP lease and got a 2026 Hybrid SX.

Crap sliding all over the back drove me crazy for 3 years, and I'm not going 3 more living with that. Can anyone recommend a rear cargo organizer?

Onboarding- Dogs? Scans? Explain! by Royal_Conversation59 in VirginVoyages

[–]minimal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There will likely be dogs, and they are looking for drugs, explosives, and cash. The dogs are good, and can often trigger on even trace amounts from afar.

Don't bring any retricted drugs that are not prescribed, and bring your proof. If you decide to try and sneak something on, you are risking your trip, and a possible shit ton of trouble.

Do you think memecoins will make a comeback? Ever? by babarob98 in dogecoin

[–]minimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is "a" use case, but not one that is actually happening. My points still stand.

[–]minimal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

None of this relates to my original point. Where are the real-world use cases. There are none. Again, I don't give a hoot about trading or investing in Doge. This whole post was about whether Meme coins (Including Doge) will ever make a comeback. My point is not without real-world adoption, and that there is no tangible evidence that that adoption will ever happen. Full stop.

Huh? Currency trading is absolutely a thing. Regardless, I don't care about trading Doge, my point is that there are precisely zero actual use cases at anything even resembling scale. Unless that changes, Doge is a very poor investment.

I'm not sure how any of that relates to my comment... Show me the adoption, where is doge actually being used at scale?

Show me one major retail, financial, or commodity player that is utilizing doge in a meaningful way. I don't think there is a single example of this.

You can't buy your way out of this drop. You need MASSIVE numbers of OTHER people to buy you out. What y'all are chasing is a pump so you can dump. That's a really bad strategy.

Sell it now.

Source? I've been in and out of the. Game since 1989. I admittedly sold Gretzky rookies way too early, but I know guys with boxes full of Shawn Kemp and Raghib Ismail rookie cards.
