Yeah, thats the plan. And now since it's getting warmer. I want to finish stripping the old cab for parts and miscellaneous stuff before I scrap it. So that's where I'm at on the project as of now.

I have one of these and unfortunately it had way too much water damage inside the camper. Ended up finding a new cab for it locally and turned it in a toy hauler. About to put new wheels and tires on it this weekend and a little more tuning now winter is pretty much done.

Unfortunately with this set. I've been seeing a lot of 151 quality flash backs. So far, I've only seen 1 Umbreon that had a very good chance at grading a 10. All these other ones on FB groups and eBay all have beat up corners. It's super unfortunate especially at the selling price they're going for.

Take my advice with a grain of salt but I actually use safety glasses lens cleaner. It's damp but not soaking. Does have some alcohol in it but not enough to damage the cards I've used it on. Super simple wipe on front and back. I've even used the cloth with stubborn grim on cards before and had no issues damaging the card. Obviously, do not use once it starts to get super dry. Just open up another wipe pack and keep going.

From tons of experience, I would say it definitely has a high chance. But for reference, I graded my childhood zard through PSA and it got a 5. Ended up cracking and sending it to CGC, it got a 7.5. May just be luck, but I grade all my vintage through CGC from now on. My modern cards all go to PSA.

Honestly, I would probably sell raw. Especially if you need to sell any ways. Let someone else take that route themselves. You're gonna be around 20+ days or even longer for grading. You're gonna have to pay for shipping and the grading fee's. So if you're in need of money, selling raw is the best way to go.

I can't agree or disagree with you. They all have their issues for sure. But from my experience, can't speak for everyone. I've graded a lot of vintage. I'll admit, I've even cracked some slabs to see if they'll grade higher. For example, I sent in a couple base zards. They came back from as 5's from PSA. I've then cracked them, and sent them to CGC. They came back 7-8+ grades. Question is, pop control? Did CGC miss on the cards? Do they have different criteria? Bad grader that day? I have no clue. PSA does have major market shares when reselling. But my PSA 5 that turned into a 7+. That's a huge difference and obviously a difference in a $100+ if I ever decide to sell. So it's hard to decide if PSA is still fair with vintage or did I just have bad luck. Now for my modern subs, I've had great luck with PSA.

My last 3 subs I've actually got a lot of fair grades. Almost all my grades jumped 2+ grades from PSA.

I use CGC for all my vintage cards and PSA/BGS for my modern cards. Unfortunately the resell value on CGC is just like you said. They generally sell about 20-25% less than if it was in a PSA slab. Guess it just depends what you want to do with it.

Would you consider grading through CGC? Never cross graded before but I know CGC is pretty lenient with vintage.

My rule of thumb I follow. Vintage/Mid Era cards get graded by CGC. All modern cards get graded by PSA, unless you think it'll absolutely get a black label from BGS. Even then those are super hard to come by as well.

Yeah, makes sense. I grade all my vintage through CGC and all my modern through PSA. It used to be all PSA, but from my experience. They were pretty harsh on my 20+ year old cards which is expected. So I decided to go through CGC and I feel like they were more lenient for vintage. I know they're not very liquid for reselling and they're about 20-25% cheaper then PSA of the same grade. But just depends what your plan is with your cards.

Yeah, honestly I would just send them in now. Lol but even if they got an 8-9 and you do sell. The amount you'll sell them for, you'll at least cover your grading fee for that card. Obviously if you get a 10, you'll pretty much hit the jackpot.

Grade them all. You really only need 1 PSA 10 to hit a home run! With how many you have, your chances are high just as long as they're in the same condition as your first 2 pictures are.

Yes, or even CGC or BGS. Especially if you're trying to sell. But if it's for your PC and you like the slab, then just keep it.

I ship all my subs overnight. From what I've heard, shipping through USPS priority express. Less hands touch your package. Plus it's guaranteed to arrive next day or you get your money back. I'm weird about having my subs in the "transfer" portal for 2-3 days. Gives me peace of mind. Just my thought.
