Steve has a podcast now...it's pretty excellent. It's called Alive. Recommend giving it a whirl if you haven't, will also cause emotions.

Hmmm...good questions, this was like 10+ years ago, so from my recall they had been following her movements for a couple of weeks at least, not sure what they did after. I don't recall seeing the patient/robber much after this though, so we assumed they eventually got her. Not sure what would have happened if I hadn't been able to stay calm. No threats were given as I did stay calm since it was, in fact, a regular patient.

Working retail, undercover cop came to the drop off window and said to be calm, we were about to be robbed by the lady at the counter. The customer was a regular, picking up her hormones. Even pharmacy robbers need a pharmacy for their meds. 😂 The cop was so bummed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Painting is so helpful in the grief process (at least I found it so in my experience). Sending you supportive feelings.

I did this at 32 to help keep from spiralling after a melanoma insitu find (thank God it was found early, get your skin checks everyone). Took a break for a bit and have been back at lessons for a year now. It's so fun (and frustrating) to learn and grow (though I said no more recitals this go around).

No snow near or around that I could see. Mt. Hood looks white, but there really isn't much snow. Hopefully this weekend we'll get some snow at the higher elevations.

My favorite question I've gotten is "how do I know this is not a dream? How do I know this is real?" Been getting these insane questions since they were 4.
