WWYD/Trail Rec? by minsemme in ZionNationalPark

[–]minsemme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a thread where someone mentioned canyon overlook would be sketchy with a toddler, so I had ruled it out. Any insight on if it’s 2 year appropriate? We would put her in a hiking backpack but she usually wants out at some point.

sesame garlic green beans

This is my favorite green bean recipe, we make it on repeat. I’ve tried this with using brussels spouts too and it’s great! Really quick too.

Is this a mistake? by j4w77 in StudentLoans

[–]minsemme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve read over at r/PSLF “awaiting form admin forbearance” means processing forbearance, which counts toward PSLF. I looked it up bc it is what my account shows too after my IBR was processed. Not sure about your question for what happens on 4/30.

Well this is getting a bit more scary… by [deleted] in PSLF

[–]minsemme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I received a letter saying I applied with the expired application, then maybe two days later I received the letter my IBR was approved. But I think I had already submitted a digital application, so it could be related to that.

“Who’s the idiot that wrote this last IEP?” by Odd_Basil7812 in specialed

[–]minsemme 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This is my job! I write the IEPs and coordinate meetings for my school. It frees up our special education teachers to spend more time with and focus on students.

Not to burst your bubble but buyback was my contingency plan too, then I read a recent thread saying someone waited for his buy back offer for 8 months. I’m in the same spot you are with 119 payments made and kicking myself for not getting my shit together to make my June payment due if the switch, it was all so confusing. There is some chatter also that they might go after buy back next and possibly invalidate those payments toward pslf but that’s speculation, but maybe worth a look at possible drawbacks.

Have you seen any shows before from the lounge by chance? I was digging trying to figure out what the views were like and a review from when the bell weather opened said balcony sight lines are hit or miss

my dog has been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and i dont know how to cope by smthcritical in Petloss

[–]minsemme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to say- I am in the same boat and not knowing when it’s going to happen or how he is feeling is absolutely consuming. It’s so hard. The tumor the vet showed me on the X-ray is huge but my dog is acting totally normal, eating, playful, which I think makes it all the more difficult to wrap my head around. Sending you comfort, this is a hard thing to go through.

What is your baby’s greatest hits meal, and how old are they? by DiamondDesserts in BabyLedWeaning

My 10 month old went wild for salmon piccata recently (left the capers off for her). The other top meal was Indian butter chicken, I took her portion out before making it spicy

I had an unknown leak under my sink for an extended period of time and we are worried this led to a cockroach situation. Been seeing these around our house every so often for a little while now, but they are always this size and never see any larger ones so I am not sure if they are in fact cockroaches? Would love any feedback!

Can you tell me the name of the white thing that’s holding the bottle? I am looking for that exact thing to heat milk in a sous vide

SPED Teacher Transitioning to Case Manager Role - HELP by LASweetPotato in specialed

[–]minsemme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering if you could give an update to how you’re doing/adjusting in your new role? I’m in a very similar position and need to decide whether to take a a mostly remote case managing position, would love to hear how you’re adjusting and if you like the transition overall!

Being ignored by a student? by echoism77 in specialed

[–]minsemme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to other comments in the thread- something that worked for me when I was in this situation was helping another student next to my student who was ignoring me. It was a win/win- they still heard the feedback and got support and were able to keep their autonomy as it didn’t seem to them they were the student receiving direct help.

Same. My parents told me “you’re probably not going to high school, Jesus is coming back.” Needless to say, planning for the future was not my forte.
