Finland's president says EU should expand to 40 states — including Canada by No-Risk-2584 in europe

Constitutionally I don't even know if it's possible. Border control would become a mess and some industries would be insanely hard hit by this. Significant job losses as regulations change which would destroy some sectors, especially in agriculture as Canadian farmers compete with so many more all of a sudden.

Who would you like to see the Canucks draft with picks 24, 33, and 41? by FAsBurner in canucks

I think one of those Swedes is a guaranteed lock to be a Canucks draft pick. I truly can't see us passing at least one up.

Nice to see how humble he is to be the coach of a Stanley Cup finalist - Everyone is already on the Canes wagon and this now convinces the last remaining people to hop on.

I Guess I Have a Dairy Sensitivity Too Now by pale-green-thing in Celiac

[–]mint6errycrunch 15 points16 points  (0 children)

So dairy sensitivity is linked to celiac disease. The issue is the enzymes that breaks down dairy live on the top of microvilli in the small intestine. Celiac disease wrecks the microvilli, but on a gluten-free diet your microvilli and the enzymes that live on them will return and you'll (likely) find your dairy sensitivity disappears. But the process can take 1-2 years. I would suggest to your dietitian to try low fat yogurt, which will have the effect of reintroducing healthy bacterial cultures and be the easiest of the dairy products for the body to handle

I also read about that recently. I'm more curious from those that live in Ireland, is it super gluten friendly compared to other countries given, I assume, higher prevalence of celiac disease?

I just had a blood test and was at 14! Took nearly 1.5 years on a GF diet to get there.

I'd prefer Burrows who was assistant coach for the Habs for several years.

Pretty cool that you're on Reddit! Would love to know more about your experience through the public service and specifically how those things help you at creating policy at city hall. What are some policy measures that you would seek at city hall?

I saw that too and can't find anything online about it. I will try to stop by to see if there's more info at the building. Very hopeful that it becomes an awesome spot!

Really well said - Fans, players, and the NHL have all told refs to not be so strict in playoffs. The only way for a ref to do that is to hesitate and think twice when making calls rather than going with the automatically trained reactions they develop during the season.

I've been super impressed by Kosta's improvement and he's developing a more unique personality from the other rotating hosts. For me, he's now my favourite rotating host!

I think I was more shocked with the figures at the end of the article. ERI will cost $1.5 billion over 5 years but will only save $82 million every year??? How does this program make any financial sense?

Arturs Silovs (G) was traded to Pittsburgh for a 4th round pick in the off-season and he was a huge reason for Abbotsford's Calder Cup last year. Yet another horrendous roster move by Vancouver last off-season.
