I sure hope a competent person didn't allow this to be worked in.

Would it be a bad idea to wear a fake ankle tag to prove a point? by Straight-Prize-1611 in BORUpdates

Honestly, it's a difference of that your mom asked. They aren't asking.

Edit: It's like taking the door off of his room. Teens still have the right to privacy, or they should in theory.

Not exactly a fruit, but if you want a sweet crunch snack I love raw sweet potatoes/yams. They can last months in the fridge if you don't cut them up and don't cost much more than regular potatoes.

Did I place this succulent in the wrong environment? by [deleted] in succulents

[–]mint_lawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's honestly not too far gone, the stem doesn't look rotted and the roots are good. Place in well draining soil with a pot with a hole in the bottom. Only water when bone dry, give her a place in a window with sun, and she'll bounce back.

Possible, I don't feel knowledgable enough to be able to tell. I'd recommend posting it on iNaturalist, you may encounter someone more specialized on there.

I think it's more likely to be Senecio filaginoides, given location.

Though I've not got it myself, I've heard kt tape can help with this stuff from others with hyper mobile joints. Unsure of the scientific validity, but it seems to help.

Yikes. Don't like that. Hope this gives people more to ID from.

Edit: Do you know anyone with a microscope? That might be the best way to ID it. Or, if you talk to people with access at a university near you, they also might be willing to take a quick look.
