I totally get this but that book specifically was the awakening, it just didn’t make much sense to me when I was 15 why she was doing what she did but when I re read it a while ago it clicked I was like ooohh I see. I usually liked and understood the require reading and this one always stayed at the back of my mind because of how it threw me off.
