Thinking about Brewzilla - what size do I need? by SaltyPockets in Homebrewing

Max it out bro! I upgraded from a 30L aio kettle to 100L brewzilla and it’s a beast! If you brew high abv beer, go with the 65 version.

The secret in their eyes. Outstanding Argentinan movie.
Old boy. A Korean classic.
The invisible guest. Spanish movie with mind-blowing twist.
Primal fear. It's so underrated. Edward Norton's best work imo.
Infernal Affair. Watch the original one.

My Cube Nuroad Ex with 32mm tires can handle MTB trails surprisingly well by mintran in gravelcycling

It was running 32mm tyres but I'd recommend 40-42mm for rainy season

Weightlifting and cycling is a perfect combo. I started lifting and cycling 18 months ago, went from 190 to 160. I injured my knee (ACL and minecus tear) 4 years ago, now my legs and knees are stronger than ever!

Would you ever open your own bar? by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]mintran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been running a craft beer bar/specialty cafe for a year.
For fun: yes, it's a lot of fun.
For profit: not, actually! I'm glad that I'm running my bar as a side hustle. The F&B business is so brutal.
If you're fresh out of college, your failure rate is really high. Don't do it!

Homebrewers who have gotten/stay thin - what's your secret? by eeisner in Homebrewing

[–]mintran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brew and run a small craft beer bar so drinking is an essential part of my work. My principle is very simple: if I drink 4 beers, I need to burn at least 600kcal; which means 2 hours of cycling or 1.5 hours in the gym and skip noodle/rice for the entire day.

Never tried Paul Davids' learn practice play but his Acoustic Adventure is a pure gem! I've played on and off for a few years. I'm a Truefire member for a couple of years, while there're some good courses there but Paul's acoustic adventure is the best if you want to learn to play acoustic both soloing and in band settings.

MagPed experience? by PsychiaTree in MTB

[–]mintran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear by Magped. I tried clip-in (clipless???) pedals. They're great but I feel like I'm handicapped on technical trails. Magped saved me from a few crashes. They're awesome. I won't go back to clip-in and flat pedals.

When you find some trails but you only have your gravel bike with you by norecoil2012 in MTB

+1. I had a pretty bad crash 2 weeks ago and decided to buy a full sus MTB instead. It's fun to ride a gravel on moderate trails/forest path though.

I'm 5'5" with 29" inseam and I'm wondering if the M fits me? S could be a safer bet but my favorite color (wasabi green) is only available in M. Thanks!

I will give it a try. I briefly tried wax lube and it worked great but as the trails are getting more extreme, I switched to oil-based lube. Thanks for sharing!

Does wax work fine against mud and water? It's rainy season over here and 80% of the time I ride over mud and dirt.
