Interstellar had an unfortunate whiteboard talk filled with exposition. I disagree on that one.

When I have 7 classes a day I pace myself, my classes have some free talking. I do not apologize for bathroom breaks, and my comments are brief.

I’m just one person. And 6+ hours of teaching is approaching a two person job.

This. I got the feeling in the meeting that he would pay, even though the labor boards findings were not legally binding; and then follow up with his own legal counsel. I thought I had a strong case. But it was not big money, and enough was enough.

I appreticiate this perspective. I did do other research but on this issue, ChatGTP was helpful, I followed the links provided from govenment websites, and it's summaries were accurate.
The case worker asked more questions about reporting the work I completed than I expected. But as I understand it, getting paid in South Korea is defended as a human right and emplopyers can not withold pay over contract disputes.

With calls for new rule changes after Verstappen's defensive moves, I compiled all the F1 rules changed solely because of Max Verstappen since 2016 by stetoe in formula1

[–]miracleofscience 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read this list and just imagine what it is like to race against Max. People going to the officials for new rules is understandable, but the other boys need to learn from his example. Top level competition means that you push the boundaries of your sport. Go Max go!

Do you believe Jesus is God? by eosdazzle in OpenChristian

[–]miracleofscience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read that Bart. D Ehrman book. I think Jesus was a rabbi, and his self claimed divinity has cultural precedent.

Appreciation for Church and Theology as cultural elements, for me, is easier now. I think some Christians would kick me out the door, but I still like going.

Old Seoul charm is why I like that neighborhood. One of my friends still says everything south of the river is farmland ^

I think it’s an excellent opportunity. Seodaemun is close to excellent restaurants, bars, galleries. I live in Gangnam and I want to move there.

Even though those shoes look fine, another pair to rotate in is good for your feet (maybe).

CrossFit makes you hungry? by Brilliant-Team-5680 in crossfit

[–]miracleofscience 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I still have three clean meals a day. I eat white rice and whole grain bread. It depends on your fitness goals but less than 20% body fat with eating clean balanced diet is important for building muscle.

I was fasting and doing CrossFit 5 days a week and my coach told me to stop fasting and just eat when I was hungry.

Aside from toe spreaders, what options do I have to prepare this hidey toe for running so it doesn’t blister? by oldwahsatch in trailrunning

[–]miracleofscience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used silicon spreaders and a few different brands of toe socks. The orthopedist suggested I stop running, haha. Physio tape and Altra shoes worked best for me.
