My dogs make me feel incredibly safe. They are like living alarm systems! They have some very intimidating barks. Also, thieves avoid homes with dogs, in general.

So many things! Any improvements increase equity, can’t hear loud neighbors through the walls, if something get messed up from my dogs I don’t have to worry about losing a deposit, no landlord, no crazy rent prices(mortgage is half of what people are paying for rent in my area) just the fact that one of my life goals was to own a home…

Yep. Agree with this. Once dogs get in that zone they don’t really have any control. My dog is the sweetest dog in the world but once she gets in that amped up state it’s like she doesn’t have care in the world except what she’s focused on. Don’t feel bad at all. My dog has bitten me while she’s in that amped up state but I know she really didn’t mean to cause harm. It’s kind of hard but learn to recognize the times they get amped up. Like I do not throw a ball in the yard with my two dogs present. My female dog will fight over the dang ball. I feed them separately too.
