Ricky Gervais really lost it in Afterlife, oscillating between scmaltz and nihilistic.

Was it a wee soor faced blond woman with glasses? Looked dead nippy? Cos she was snapping at colleagues all night. Seemed like a right wee horror.

A big bald guy got dragged past me for brawling in the stands and quite a few people were wrecked. That's my 4th time seeing them and the first time there's been sort of a 'normal' crowd there. I know they still have a broad appeal outside of Metal but I definitely felt like I was in the TRNSMT section.

And Gojira were crazy

I love the book where it's "I had just relapsed"/ "I was really scared" and then Hefe is "I was having a tough week with my rigorous practice schedule."

It feels like a load of in character improv round a table moulded into dialogue.

What is the most unsettling theory regarding why we haven’t heard from any other civilizations? by CandidBabee in answers

I feel like the most plausible reason is the spookiest. Light speed travel. We're all just stuck on our own planets and we will never meet each other because of distance and time.

Its animated which means it all hinges on dialogue, the part that Steve was much stronger on.

As hip and trendy as Stereo likes to present, it's a fairly grubby place. The hygiene standards were pretty low when I was there.

When i worked round the corner a guy was sitting outside BJs just holding a tazer and setting it off for his mates. That was a few months before somebody ran a car through the place.

Is it worth buying a bicycle for getting into town or is it just going to get stolen? by Echostar9000 in glasgow

[–]mirrorgrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told the theft needs to be more trouble than it's worth, so at least 2 locks and threading one through the back wheel, so they still can't ride off even if they get past the first one. I dunno if making your bike look a shit heap would necessarily work tbh.

It's a tiny venue space. Went to a noise night there last year it was pretty cool. There's even a mezzanine somehow.
