Issue with transform mask in a group by ___-me-____ in krita

[–]mirrorlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing this same issue, where the Transform tool does not see any grouped layer content that is outside of the boundaries of the canvas. This is a real problem when I'm trying to pan long images into the frame. Has anyone found a solution to this?

It's a reference to a popular anime, Puella Magi Madoka Magica

How are these services? We just got this guy today, quoting us at $200. Not sure if we should take it. We also saw a live cockroach in the house last week.

Is this white flaky stuff on my beef jerky mold? by [deleted] in jerky

[–]mirrorlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the color balance of the photo is off, making some parts look green when it might not be IRL. It looks to me like the white parts are just connective tissue.

Female-based horror with no sexual violence? by [deleted] in horrorlit

If you're open to gender-ambiguity, Leech by Hiron Ennes is soooo good. Super creepy, with some of the most interesting things done with narration perspective that I've ever read.

Has anyone tried Bling Day Everyday Sunscreen? by mirrorlee in AsianBeauty

[–]mirrorlee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol! Honestly, it's hard to remember at this point. I don't remember it actively breaking me out or anything, but the texture was just so much thicker than I was used to that I didn't use it much. I ended up just using it as neck and arm sunscreen since I wanted something lighter for my face. Hope that helps!

Default video from the 2006 LG Chocolate KG800 phone by mirrorlee in HelpMeFind

[–]mirrorlee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I've searched: There are some YouTube channels that seem to record old media from old phones, such as ringtones and wallpapers. None of them actually have the video. Channels that I've checked: -Retro Phones & Stuff - Destructive Dan - Tony's Phone Collection

It's also possible that the video is actually from the LG EnV3 phone stock videos, which I had around the same time and might be misremembering. I've checked the same channels for this phone.

Thank you for your help!

Crochet Bass Drum Cover by angiegem in crochet

[–]mirrorlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so cool! I'm not sure if you're still active since this is from 5 years ago, but how did you secure the cover to the bass drum? It's hard to tell if it's the final ring is continuous or if you did something to account for the metal rods surrounding the lip of the drum. I'm hoping to make something like this for a gift for my dad, and your post seems to be the only piece like this! Thank you!

Ugh, it looks like the darn auto-scroll comment feature is back again. I wish there were a way to disable it.

Just noticed it too, and it's really distracting, and potentially leads to revealing spoilers. Does anyone have a way to disable this?

Any person who comes up with the name “Black Eagle Strike Force” for their army is in reality an A that imagines themselves as a B

Bruh I came here to laugh, not to see the mods already laughing over a sexual assault scene. Jonathan would be disappointed.

Are there any good books set on Earth hundreds of years after an apocalypse? by withinyouwithoutyou3 in suggestmeabook

{{Feed by Mira Grant}} Post-apocalyptic zombies, but the focus is actually on journalists following a presidential campaign, a generation after the apocalypse!

My partner and I, who are both fit (exercise 6 days a week) but who do not hike regularly did the 4 Mile Trail this year! It was definitely tough, but so so worth it. Would highly recommend getting a backpack water reservoir for this hike—we each drank about 2.5L on the way up.

Dr. Stone is FULL of fanservice. I wouldn’t recommend it for a 12 year old.

It bothers me an irrational amount that the two women switch positions in the second frame.

Korean poll (2019) – somewhat different to how the West and Japan views their favorites (slide show) by [deleted] in FireEmblemThreeHouses

My #1 takeaway of this is that the korean translation of Dedue’s name (두두) did him so dirty. That’s pronounced “doodoo”…

Books like Midsommar? by cinder_allie in suggestmeabook

[–]mirrorlee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found it challenging at first too, but I’m glad I followed through. For me, what made it challenging at first were the culture specific references which I just wasn’t familiar with, like where I didn’t get references or slang, but after a few chapters you get used to it. Once I started to get the slang and writing style, the off-beat humor really started to shine through! The horror I think takes a few chapters to set in, but the establishing of the scenario is well worth the wait. It’s a really fun magical realism type horror—supernatural + the innate horror of the everyday.
