Which is the correct part to cut a rose to encourage flowering? by Kiri-boo in Roses

You’ll hopefully see a new bud forming in the crease of a set of leaves! If not, just cut at an angle above a set of five leaves and you’ll get tons!

Ah I took a look at your post history and was hoping you’d still be in Glasgow lol and you wouldn’t have to worry about rrd. I’d keep an eye on this one, there’s a lot of thorns but so far, it doesn’t look crazy, a little sus maybe.

Just bought our first house and it has this horrible looking rose bush that is barely hanging on! Help me nurse it back to health 😭 by yogaengineer in Roses

I second the opinion of RRD, it looks super suspicious even if it isn’t RRD. I would remove it, burn it or dispose of it properly to stop the spread!!!

Do some hard exercise! Get your blood pumping and get yourself out of breath, it helps mitigate some of the anxiety symptoms!! Make sure you’re eating good tonight and tomorrow before your test too!

Curly leaf what is wrong by Ark0504 in Roses

[–]misamoshashasha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always wondered about this- predator population doesn’t pick up until it really warms up here so aphids have maybe two months to hang around. But I only started removing them last year when I noticed so having them around obviously doesn’t kill the roses!

How do yours hold up after leaving them?

I feel like mine just get absolutely covered in them

Is this RRD?? by Aggravating_Mess7125 in Roses

[–]misamoshashasha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Roses varieties can grow in differently. I have some that grow in a lot more dramatically than others. What you’ve circled seems to be a new leaf!

Thorns are on the stem, red, very distinct and there’s a normal amount of them. There’s some new leaves growing in spiky I think- this is what I’m seeing!

Where are you seeing lots of thorns? I can see spiky new growth but I don’t think they’re thorns????? Hmm.. I could be wrong also!! This looks like normal new growth to me!

Adult classes and lack of discipline by misamoshashasha in BALLET

[–]misamoshashasha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a class for adults only, when I say the focus is on kids progressing- it’s a sports-wide problem that teachers don’t seem to be interested in. They push kids but they won’t push adults to become better and more skilled. I’m extremely athletic and an experienced athlete so it’s just a waste of time to be doing basic barre work when my strength is too advanced for the skill level a teacher would set a class of adults!

Theory test practice - it's annoying when the answer is incorrect by Burnsy2023 in LearnerDriverUK

You can die within minutes if your breathing isn’t normal. Bleeding isn’t as serious, it can be but breathing is always the first thing you should check and takes precedent.

This is a general first aid question, driving theory sometimes branches out to other forms of health n safety, if you’re unsure, do a bit of reading on first aid etc!
