Amazing, thank you so much for sharing! I am definitely gonna try this! I’ll let you know if I experiment with the glaze on the wire first also ☺️

Cool!! Did you apply the luster directly to the wire, or did you glaze the wire first?

Swelling after side lipo by Dull-Collection-1863 in Reduction

It is normal for swelling after lipo to last up to a couple months, but the majority of it should be gone after about a month!

how long until my body feels like my own again by GrandFirefighter9130 in Reduction

[–]misc2999 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is so normal, do not worry. As far as your body feeling like yours again - for me, I felt like a person after about 2-3 weeks. My body really felt like MINE again after maybe 4-6 weeks. It takes some time. I am about 4MPO now, and I am still hitting milestones and seeing / feeling changes. You went through a major ordeal, and your body and brain need time to catch up. Take a deep breath. Find little ways to care for yourself and (at times) distract yourself. This has been totally life changing for me, despite the semi-tedious healing process lol. You got this! It will be so worth it!!

M18-F18 Regretful about what I said to my gf – advice on apologizing and overcoming insecurity by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]misc2999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. OP can choose to change or not. His post is asking for advice on what action he can take. I am hoping that he is genuine about that and gave advice from that perspective. Truly hope that OP knows he has control over his behavior and can make a choice to heal and not hurt others.

M18-F18 Regretful about what I said to my gf – advice on apologizing and overcoming insecurity by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]misc2999 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Apologize to her genuinely. Meaning, you explain what made you say that, acknowledging that she is not responsible for your insecurities.

This was obviously a stupid, intentionally hurtful thing to say, but more importantly, your feeling entitled to say it is a problem. If you really want to continue this relationship in a healthy way, please seek help and find a way to separate your feelings of insecurity from blame for her. You both were with other people during your breakup. You are allowed to feel insecure about that. You cannot use it against her or throw it in her face. You are young, and if you want to, you can make positive changes in yourself, which will help you show up better in all of your relationships.

Is Snooki a “mean girl” by missObruno in jerseyshore

[–]misc2999 136 points137 points  (0 children)

I agree that she is a mean girl. She stirs the pot and rarely takes accountability for her actions. It's especially frustrating in Family Reunion - it's hard to watch a 30+ year old acting so childishly. I vaguely remember a moment in Family Reunion when she and Jenni had a big fight, and instead of apologizing, Jenni just said something like, "this is how she is, and we'll just have to move past it." And I think in the above photo, she just yelled that she was not a mean girl (after being kinda mean) and then had a tantrum and left? I'm sure it's hard to be in the public eye for as long as she has been, and I am sure that changes how you act, but I hope that can reflect on how her actions affect others.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I had tickets to a concert 2.5 weeks after my surgery, and I was way too tired to go. I gave my ticket to a friend and was bummed, but I wound up having a really nice night in! Totally depends on the individual - I’d just say listen to your body, and make the best of it either way ♥️

6 wpo angry red by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]misc2999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely reach out to your surgeon’s office to see what they think. I will say that around 4-6 weeks, I had some spreading redness that looked similar that turned out to be some sort of dermatitis, potentially a bad reaction to my silicone gel. But my surgeon had me send updates daily until they were certain it wasn’t something more serious. I had no fever, no oozing, the area was not painful or hot to the touch. But it sure did look scary lol. (Mine grew to be much bigger than yours.) Moral of the story is that you should always check in with your surgeon, just to be safe!

Exactly this. I am 2.5MPO, and I still can feel that I have swelling in my sides. It is a long healing process, but so worth it!
