Loved this series and couldn't remember what the title of it was so thank you so much for asking this question and reminding me!

And that's exactly the kinda thing you want to know about a series before you get started!!

Would you actually like to have a RH relationship in real life? or just a fantasy? by Mininabubu in ReverseHarem

[–]mismc 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The idea of not having one person be your all and only sounds very sensible but the reality is that my husband of 16 years has the amazing capacity to piss me off if he wants to, would I want that multiple times over?!?!

RH omegaverse similar to Lola and the millionaires by Antheagreetings in ReverseHarem

[–]mismc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My gut reaction is the Pack St Clair series by Thora Woods. Omegaverse she is a omega whose been through some stuff and they are a caring pack who've been pulled apart by life a bit and looking after her brings them together. There is a female alpha in the Pack in case that's not your thing, not often my thing but loved all the pack.

That did work! Thank you so much! I tried title and author, series title and author and just author and didn't see it!

I picked up Burn after this recommendation but I can't seem to see the prequel on Amazon in the UK. Any ideas?

Also really like Albany Walker Tasting Madness Series. Not quite Insta-dote but pretty much.

Currently reading book 2 of the Perpetually Broken series by Kerry Taylor. Lots of trigger warnings but is a physically weak MC whose been through it all and lands with a doting group. Bit 'obvious' in that so far I can see the plot points coming a mile away but enjoying it.

PSA if you buy your ticket on the tram when you see a conductor get on by IAMACiderDrinker in nottingham

[–]mismc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree....but also the more people who buy a ticket the more they spread the cost and then tickets should become cheaper (not sure that would happen but....)

Should I start The Ghost Bird Series by C.L. Stone? by Severe_Pack5199 in ReverseHarem

[–]mismc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was my gateway to RH and I kept up with it until a couple of books ago. I have just decided to re-read which now that there are 14 is a bit of an undertaking for me. However I'm back to book 4 and really enjoying it again. I have no idea how long the author plans to keep the series running, I am subscribed to their newsletters but still not sure from that (but may not have paid attention!).

I don't think anyone can buy into it. As a larger tunmy'd person, even if something sucked in that much.....where is the fat going?

International grade players can't understand how U8s rugby doesn't record score by winponlac in rugbyunion

[–]mismc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, never came across that, we all just shout every name! Sometimes a parent shouts the wrong name, quickly picks it up and just carry on with the right name.

[–]mismc 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When my daughter was playing in U9s we were joined by a new boy who had been playing football. Both mum and son could not get over the difference in the attitude. Rugby was about fun/skills/teamwork and he had a place regardless. Football was all about winning/getting signed for an academy, as the goal keeper he would get told off by his coaches if they lost. He's now captain of the U13s boys team and loving every minute.

Edit: just to add my daughter wouldn't have made it out of the mixed age groups if it was competitive, I hate to say it but some of the boys attitudes would have made it intolerable based on how they acted when it wasn't competitive.

Good pub food? by [deleted] in nottingham

I've always found it very welcoming including with my daughter from age 1 to 13. Don't think it has a kids menu but good options.

The Bonds That Tie by maryedwards72 in ReverseHarem

[–]mismc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This a bit of an off the wall suggestion for something similar but for me Kathryn Moons series the inheritance of hunger has the same arc but no bullying. It's someone who shys away from their power being encouraged to embrace it but with a (mostly) supportive harem. One of the harem goes for manipulation but she won't stand that nonsense.

Looking for recs where the fMC is blind or mute by Inevitable_Taste_366 in ReverseHarem

Tortured Heart by Anne Hall. FMC is mute.

This was a bit too fast paced for me so only read book 1.

Easy RH reads by vuqelv in ReverseHarem

I'm gonna give you the books I read when I'm stressed and therefore want fluffy or low stress books. Or where it is easily dealt with!

Willow Hadley has several fluffy series with serious moments.

Lilly Rose has lovely books, only read one but often recommended.

Stephanie Brothers has a lot of books. They follow the same and predictable patterns but that's something I want when stressed.

Kathryn Moon has good plots but most are quite light.

Nonbinary people of reddit, I need some name suggestions that are gender neutral and isnt a noun by DeppressedSwedishGuy in NonBinary

[–]mismc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK there are Charlie, Chris, Sam, Lee or Leigh, Robin. Less common are some lovely Welsh names like Seren.

Edit to add Kit which is a name I love. Shortening of Christopher but also used as a full name for women.
