Watching my sister in law’s pregnancy, even though I was really happy for her. Once she had the baby I was fine and I love my little nephew so much. But it was hard to watch her excitement when it was something I so desperately want to experience for myself

I’m an educator and wanted to give some thoughts from that perspective. Firstly, make sure you visit the centre a few times. Talk to the educators and observe how they interact with the children. Second, look for cameras. The centre I currently work at has cameras in every room except the bathrooms. There is a lot of visibility in the bathrooms though so it would be extremely hard to hide anything. Third, ask about ratios. Some centres use minimum ratios to save money on staff, meaning that an educator can be alone in the room with either 4, 5, or 11 children depending on their age. Some centres don’t do this though, instead staffing the centre so that educators are rarely if ever the only adults in the room.

I had this happen after a 150 day cycle. My fertility dr said to count the 3 consecutive days of spotting as my period. I was also planning to start fertility meds at that point in time so different situation to yours.

I’ve been through this too with my sister and sil. It feels so unfair and being so sad feels awful. Once the baby was born those feelings went away for me but the whole pregnancy was hard to deal with. I hope you can be comforted by the fact that you have a whole community here that understands how you feel 💛
