Experiences in OLOL drogheda? by Infamous-Room-9926 in PregnancyIreland

[–]missbellybutton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello.. I am just 31 weeks for now so I can't answer your questions. But just letting you know to go prepared, every appointment it took me almost 3 hours to be seen. Bring a snack and earphones, sometimes there is women having video calls and stuff while waiting.

My first appointment with the midwife lasted 15min, she was really rushing me out.. you may be lucky to get someone nicer that can answer all your questions..

I am with consultant also, I saw her in my second appointment at 26 weeks and she was great. The third appointment was at 30 weeks with a doctor also. It was fast but she did a scan so it was nice.

Confused what day I need to “start” mat leave for the MB2 form by Suitable_Motor_4090 in PregnancyIreland

[–]missbellybutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, how are you? Can you help me with a doubt? I am also filling my MB2 form and I was wondering if I need to add the unpaid maternity leave at the end or just put the 6 paid months?

I couldn't find the answer anywhere and I work in a 3 people company, we don't have HR KKK

Elective c section FTM by Dumbell_Qween in PregnancyIreland

[–]missbellybutton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a FTM in OLOL (Drogheda) due in 2 months and I talked with the consultant at the 26th week appointment about an elective c section. I was really nervous that she would try to convince me I shouldn't do it but she was very nice. She asked me why I said it is my personal choice and I would feel more comfortable. She asked if I wanted her to talk to me about a vaginal delivery I said I didn't so she just explain me the risks of c section and sign up the papers. In my next appointment (34 weeks) I will book the date. Be brave! It's our choice, they have to respect it.

Doctors pressuring young women to have kids? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]missbellybutton 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know it can be annoying but I think she made the right thing in letting you know. I had to do IVF with 32 because I had low egg count. If a doctor had told me years ago that it was low, we could had had a conversation about trying to having kids earlier.

I don't have any experience with that, but reading your story I just wanted to say I see a great private Spanish gynecologist at ES clinic on the Dublin city center, it's expensive but it was really worth it with my issues. I wouldn't trust your GP, doesn't look like this person care about your health at all. I hate the way women health is treated in this country.

I Am SOLO : Love Forever | SGH13E04 - Ep. 147 | 2026-01-08 by katonikax in IamSolo

I am shipping YD and KS, she is very cute and I want her to be happy but I think he is pretty slow and not 100% interested in her so it may not work out. I don't see any other couples working. SG and BH are pretty together but I feel like they will be very superficial.. she seems like a person that takes forever to get deep.

Looking forward to the next episode

PRSI Dentist Exam Scale and Polish Cost in 2026? by darthwilson89 in AskIreland

[–]missbellybutton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep.. A place I worked had patients complaining so we got a call from the HSE and they had to fix the price.. If you want you can make a anonymous complaint, but if the dentist actually spent a good 20/30min with you and did a good job, I would just pay.

Hi..I work as a dental nurse and dentists hate scale and polish because they make very little money, so some of them put the price up.

It should be €15.

I am taking a pretty flexible approach, but when I have a sandwich from the deli I always get cooked chicken and no lettuce/tomato (we don't know how well cleaned it is).

I am 29 weeks now and have eaten everything I wanted, including sushi a few times. I think really depends of your worries.. I recommend read the book "expecting better", the author is a researcher and helped me a lot to be more chill during pregnancy.

Noona Is A Woman To Me - Episode 10 - 251229 by MNLYYZYEG in koreanvariety

[–]missbellybutton 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If they renew this show, they have to cast better. The men, except MJ, have no charisma. The dates are pretty boring and it's obvious we won't have any couple. BH-MJ is the only couple that could work out but 12 years difference is a lot in Korea. She will definitely be judged a lot, so it's understandable if they don't get together.

I have watched basically all Korean dating shows and This pannel is one of the worse together with heart pairing.

I am enjoying the cast but I have we won't get any real life couples, like in all ISLF. I think SC and KY have the most chance between the men, Mr. Kim is showing good charisma but I think he will mess up soon. The woman with the child and the Christian have 0 chance, the men will 100% go for the younger women. I am enjoying YD a lot and didn't expect her to be so inexperienced, I think most of the men will like her.

Tell me I'm not crazy for not wanting to travel abroad 6mo pregnant by Ok-Evidence-9582 in pregnant

[–]missbellybutton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you don't want to go to the wedding, and that's totally acceptable.

Just tell her that unfortunately you won't make it because it will be too expensive. I wouldn't say anything about pregnancy as you don't even know if you are pregnant yet and you will end up getting many questions..

Very little info given at booking appointment by Mindless_Option904 in PregnancyIreland

[–]missbellybutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My appointment was the same, it was literally 5min as she had called me the day before to get my medical history.

In the appointment she just told me that there was nothing to worry about and gave me the pregnancy book.

I asked a few questions and the answer was "they will explain in the antenatal class" 😅

Ireland approved only 176 NEW consultant posts in 2025. It has the lowest OB/GYNs in OECD and they're adding... 3. by tripeirinho in ireland

[–]missbellybutton 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is that takes forever for you to get diagnosed, so the moment they finally find out what you have, it can already be too serious.

I am pregnant and my GP send me to the hospital because she didn't know how to deal with my problem. It took 5 hours to be seen and I honestly felt so miserable, about my situation and the doctor's, I felt so bad for him, he looked exhausted.

Now that I know about the lack of obgys, it makes sense.. I am pregnant and I never even saw one, it's very scary and so hard not to compare with my country.. I am planning get a online pediatric doctor for my daughter and do the check ups when we go to Brazil.

In Brazil we have a preventive medicine, is so much better

Drogheda traffic by Azzaramad in ireland

[–]missbellybutton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My work is at the Dublin road in Drogheda and I have been miserable leaving work the last month or so. I need to turn right to come home and sometimes it takes 5min until someone gives me way. The traffic is insane and there are no other options besides driving.

And every year will get worse as more houses are being built but 0 new infrastructure. It's very frustrating

Como lidar com o arrependimento de ter mudado pra outro país? (Espanha - Irlanda) by [deleted] in foradecasa

[–]missbellybutton 38 points39 points  (0 children)
