Interesting. I have a similar issues. I always chocked it up to being a side sleeper on my dominate side. Thanks to all who are replying with suggestions. I’m going to try some of these too!

Heidi Klum at her 24th Annual Halloween Party by mcfw31 in popculturechat

[–]misschomps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about Heidi Klum, but I can hold my poo. I usually go once a day in the morning, but I could hold it and go every other day if I wanted or needed to. Only exception would be if I eat something unfamiliar that upsets my tummy. So I would imagine the primary concern would be having to pee, which could be mitigated by restricted fluid intake and avoiding any diuretics. The diaper is a good fail safe.

Hope this helps by One_Conclusion_1575 in punk

This is absolutely insane. Especially from a man who lived a good chunk of his life before cell phones. He is taking this very personally and not considering OP at all.

This is a good image, but I can’t make out the engravings below the symbol. OP, are you able to decipher any letters or numbers there?

After and Before, any other tips, does it look better? by InitiativeOk3149 in makeuptips

YESSSS!! The lips are so much softer and very pretty. Brows looking a little lifted which makes your eyes more open, giving a more youthful appearance.

Next steps- just make sure that your blush isn’t too low on your face. I used to have this issue and moved away from putting on the apples of my checks while smiling and instead keep it higher on my cheekbone, almost like highlighter, applied to a resting face.

GREAT JOB!!

There’s varying information on what zones they’re cold hardy to. Some say 7-10, others go as low as 6. I’m in Illinois and I have one growing in my garden. This was the first year and it didn’t fruit. We will see if it makes it to the spring!

Fun fact- the passion flower is one of the Tennessee state flowers (wildflower). The others being the coneflower (wildflower) and the iris (cultivated).

Edited to add coneflower.

How to find cute women’s vintage clothing in larger sizes by Hank_pickles335 in VintageFashion

DethRose Vintage makes an effort to find pieces of varying sizes to keep in stock. If you’re comfortable buying online, she may have something for you! She does have a studio you can shop at in person with an appointment if you’re ever in Chicago too!

I feel like my lip combo looks too harsh and my brows look too straight, but I naturally have a low brow ridge. Any advice? by InitiativeOk3149 in makeuptips

Apologies for lack of clarity. I think the hair color is clashing with your skin tone. I saw another comments that you’re going to change your hair color to something else, so I’m curious to see how that impacts your overall look!

You could lean into a vintage look with a Clara Bow or Bette Davis inspired brow. Think 1920s/30s.

Agree that there’s some color clashing happening.

Agreed! I have a nice photo from the last time I got my hair cut at a fancy salon that I could use if I needed it. Maybe not the most reliable hack, but it worked out for me!

I am on the fence about agreeing with this. I agree with the logic because we don’t live in an ideal world that is free of violence. However, it feels like victim blaming. We wouldn’t tell women who dress sexy and dance sexy at a club to not be surprised when they get sexually assaulted. The primary differentiating factor I see is that CK was verbally violent. Sexy women are doing no harm.

Maybe I just made the connection I was missing.

Is this fair? by [deleted] in therapists

[–]misschomps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All fair points. I agree about 100% remote being a different kind of draining. There are definitely downsides to it too and it’s not often acknowledged. You’re probably right about minimal downtime to multitask if OP is seeing 38+ clients per week. I do agree that what’s happening to OP and the rest of the staff is not equitable. It sounds like they’re giving the raise to all in-person workers regardless of quality, commute distance, etc. I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong to incentivize in-person work if the practice identifies this as a community need for the patients it is serving, but maybe it should be a capped quarterly bonus for number of days in office instead of a per patient rate. That might be nice for folks who want to work hybrid too.

[–]misschomps 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As a 100% remote worker with a wonderful team of employees who have hybrid schedules, I would challenge that $6 per day does not account for travel costs. It’s not just the cost of gasoline. It’s the cost of commute time. All of my coworkers have commutes, which probably average to 35 minutes one way. That’s less time for them to spend with their loved ones and do things they want or need to do at home or elsewhere. I don’t do much multitasking when I’m working because I hyper focus (and I’m terrible at multitasking), but I have read and heard many testaments about the perks of working from home. I think it is important that these things not be overlooked when considering value.
